KCC #470 {JUST A SENTIMENT}

Today is also our Crazy Egg Challenge as there are 5 Thursdays this month...Our challenges are always Anything Goes with the twist, so you can choose to use the twist or not - totally up to you!

This card was made at one of my stamping club ladies nights a while back - all products Stampin' Up! and it's just some pattern paper, a few punches and some twine...

Here's a close up of my card:

Thanks for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over to the blog to see what the rest of the Chicks have created using my "Just a Sentiment" twist. Cheers!

Happy Birthday, Paper Sweeties!

All month long, Paper Sweeties has been celebrating their 7th Birthday! I am super  excited to be today's Guest Designer, helping them whoop it up and party :) What's a birthday celebration without pressies?!? For today, there is a special gift just for YOU:

Today, you will receive 25% off your online purchases by using code: lori26. Now, that is something to celebrate!

For my card, I used a few Paper Sweeties goodies: I first stamped the balloon image in the Happy Cake Day stamp set and then used the Happy Cake Day Sweet Cuts to cut it out. Then, I paper-pieced all the balloons and popped the image up on the Circle Scalloped Frames Sweet Cuts. I then used the Sweet Cuts Sweet Borders to cut out my sentiment piece in black cardstock and embossed "Happy Birthday" from the Hello Friend stamp set.

I finished off by tying some twine around the bundle of balloons and adding some Cookie Dough sequins :) FUN!!!

Sending Debbie and the gang over at Paper Sweeties the BIGGEST BIRTHDAY HUGS! Thank you for having me over to play at your party...cheers!!

KCC #468 {Masculine}

Welcome back to another "Krafty Chicks" challenge. This week, it is miss Amy's turn to throw out the "twist" for this week's Anything Goes challenge!

KCC #468 {Masculine}

** Remember, our challenges are always Anything Goes with the optional "twist" thrown in each week. You do not have to use the twist, but we would sure love it if you did! :)

This card is full-on masculine I feel - how about you? It was made at one of our stamping club nights and it's perfect for that fisherman in your life...

Please be sure to check out what my other fellow Chicks have created for you using Amy's challenge:

We would love if you would come on over and play along with us this week - remember, it's an Anything Goes challenge with the optional "twist!"

This Life is Pretty Amazing...

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping in today - life's been VERY hectic around here with our daughters' wedding on the 21st, house renovations (decking), yard work, garden work, and work has been crazy to say the least. I really enjoyed just taking an hour or so yesterday and going to hide out in my craft room with a delicious cup of coffee and making this sweet card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today :)

The image is called "Spring to GO" from Unity Stamps and it's such a pretty image to color - you could have so many different colors with this one - here's a close up:

I colored the cup with my Copic Markers and stamped the image beneath it then cut it out with my Gina Marie Designs cross-stitched rectangle dies and popped it up for added dimension.

I hope you enjoy your Monday and thank you very much for popping in to see what I created today - cheers!

KCC #466 {Embossing}

Welcome back to another "Krafty Chicks" Thursday! This week, it is Leanne's turn to be our hostess-with-the-mostess. Before I get to her challenge, I'd like to welcome Betty Roberts to the Hen House this month as our Guest CHICK! Be sure to pop on over to her Instagram account and say hello. Welcome, Betty! :)

Leanne has given us the following "twist" to our Anything Goes challenge:

KCC #466 {EMBOSSING}

I don't do a lot of heat embossing anymore - I used to ALL.THE.TIME! I need to get back into that as I really love how it turns out. I do use embossing folders a lot more. This card is so pretty with the dry embossed leaves - here's a close up:

Please be sure to check out what my other fellow Chicks have created for you using
Leanne's "Embossing" twist:

We would love if you come on over and play along with us this week - remember, it's an Anything Goes challenge with the optional use of the twist :) Cheers!
