Christmas Isn't Just a Day.....

Hello everyone! Thanks for popping back in today to see what I've been up to....

My best friend, Leanne, is here for a few days and we've been gettin' our craft on! This is my first card made with my new stamps from The Project Bin! I cannot tell you how excited I am to be promoting and creating with these amazing stamps - they stamp beautifully, the fonts are gorgeous and they give your cards the main focal point you need for that WOW factor! Merry Monday #224 {Masculine Christmas}

Welcome back to my blog everyone!

The challenge this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks is being brought to you by Tamie - she's looking for us to use FABRIC on our projects...I don't really have real fabric to use on a card, so I considered my seam binding close enough LOL...

I stamped the sentiment and pumpkin/flower images from the amazing Thankful stamp set from Paper Sweeties colored them with Copics to match the color challenge at ColourQ and used my Thankful Sweet Cuts to cut them out. I popped up the flower and smaller pumpkin with foam squares for some added dimension. Added the seam binding and some pearls and done!!

Hot off the Hook!

 Welcome back to my blog everyone! 

I just wanted to pop in quick and show you a couple of custom crochet orders I completed in the last couple days....these infinity scarves are GORGEOUS in real life - I tried very hard to show the true colors in my photos. The top scarf is made with James C. Brett Marble yarn and I have attached a picture for your reference. The second scarf was made with Debbie Bliss Rialto Chunky in Denim (top ball in the picture). Both yarns were found at The Crafty Lady in Lacombe, AB....my fav go-to yarn store for the more luxurious, higher quality yarns. If you're ever in the area, pop on in and see them! You will not regret your visit! 

Both scarves are made using the Bella Coco V-Stitch pattern, just the top scarf is a bit wider and longer. You can find the You Tube video HERE.

As you can see in the 2nd picture, it was hard to capture the right blue in the scarf picture. The top ball is the true color of the scarf! Gorgeous!

Some Paper Sweeties Fun!

Welcome back to my blog everyone! 

I received another crafty fun order from Paper Sweeties and decided to get busy and play! I am in LOVE with this new designer paper that Debbie has brought in - looking forward to more (hint, hint!)  

This super cute "sentiment tree" Christmas stamp set is called Merry Little Christmas and I can see I will be using it a lot for Christmas cards with the focal point as the sentiment! I paper pieced the tree base with the same paper :) FUN!!!

Merry Monday #221 {Winter Activities}

This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Colleen is our challenge hostess and she's looking for some "winter activities" on our projects:

For my card this week, I dug out another super cute pre-colored image from Wee Stamps and went with purple and blue colors for my sledding girl:

This image reminds me of all the tobogganing and snowmobiling we used to do as kids! It was so fun - we'd go out all day and laugh as we made it our mission to "get them off the toboggan" if we pulled people behind the skidoo - too fun! We would go in for warm hot chocolate and head back out....
