Picture Perfect Color Challenge #60

Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a relaxing, enjoyable weekend....the crunch is on for the kids and I to get their schooling all caught up and submitted to their teachers as final day is June 3rd. Closing in fast....I do believe we will ALL be looking forward to it being done..*wink*

I made another Mother's Day card using these colors (I made all these last month - working ahead *yay*) and the colors really, really worked well for my card and the elements I used (however, I do need to let you know that I didn't have eggplant, so I used concord crush). I decided I have to start using my Bigz dies and sizzlits more often ... so here's one:

Stamps: Well Scripted; Paper: Crumb Cake, Concord Crush, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Pear Pizzazz DP; Ink: Concord Crush; Accessories: Blossom Party die, scallop trim border punch, concord ribbon, dimensionals, pearls

Please be sure to check out the rest of the PPC Design Team for more inspiration...the links are on the right...stay tuned for another color challenge from SPCC! Ciao!

PPC #59 - Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? For us Canadians, it's a long weekend and a lot of people are out for the first camping session of the year. With all the out-of-control forest fires happening in Alberta right now, there is a province-wide fire ban, so not many fires will happen while camping but fun can still be had! We got some glorious rain last night and supposed to continue today - so I'm celebrating that my garden is in and I can sit and craft all day! Yay!

Are you ready for a color challenge to get your MOJO flowin' again? Megan over at Picture Perfect Creations has issued a gorgeous one...in my opinion anyways! :) This card is another Mother's Day card that I did up last month when I was working ahead on all my design team work....I decided to emboss the stamped image to give it that extra special touch...

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Marina Mist, Old Olive DSP; Ink: Early Espresso; Accessories: markers, perfect dots and lattice EF, scallop punch, oval scallop punch, olive ribbon, scallop trim border punch, pearls, dimensionals

Please check out the rest of the PPC Design Team to see more yummy creations using this color combination...their links are on the right. Take care and see you shortly for another SPCC color challenge....

Laurie - On the Bright Side
Julie - Julie Makes Cards
Lori - Inkingly Yours (YOU ARE HERE)
Monique - For The Love of Paper
Cindy - Cindy Haffner's Corner
Sue - Coffeestamper on SCS

I made cards using all 4 stamp sets this month....I know I say this each release, but they were SO FUN to ink up, color and create with and I had some good laughs along the way from the awesome, witty, and sometimes down right HILARIOUS sentiments that come along with some of these sets!!! ENJOY!!!

For this card, I used the set called Violet Scarlet...now I know violets are supposed to be BLUE, but I stepped out of the box and made them orange! :) You can color these flowers any color you want to - RIGHT?!? Isn't she adorable?! And that sentiment is so true....

HA HA HA...now, anyone who really knows me, KNOWS that this sentiment is soooo ME! I love rodeos for one reason, and one reason only....the COWBOY BUTTS!! HAHAHHAHA....No, just kidding, I *do* enjoy rodeos A LOT, but I say it all the time .... "Look at those Wranglers!" so I had a lot of fun inking up this Cowgirl Dottie!!!

"WTF Gus" offers up a few chuckles too with this stamp set! Would make some awesome "male cards" for anyone in your life working the daily grind.....

This summery card was made using Daisy Scarlette. She's so cute! I love her dress - you could make this into any color combination you want! And it comes with some very cute sayings about friends, gardening and flowers!

Thank you so much for "hopping" with us tonight....now off you go to Monique's BLOG for your next installment of goodies...are you ready?! I *know* she's gonna knock your socks off! Ciao!
