Sunday 5-in-1

Hello everyone out there in BLOGGER land! It feels soooo good to craft "just cuz" :) It's been a long time since I've had the time to sit and make something that isn't just for design team work, and it feels fantastic!

Today, Tamie, let me know of a few challenges that are happening this week and she is also the Guest Designer this month over at Sweet Stamping Challenge Blog and their challenge is "Pink," so that was my starting point. I needed a sketch, so I hopped on over to the Clean and Simple Stamping Challenge Blog and found this:

...I have been wanting to "attempt" a clean-and-simple card for some time now and I think I did ok (didn't I?) *giggle* I find CAS cards very difficult and this one {might be} a bit too detailed even still...I will work on it and maybe create a few more tonight *wink*

My card also qualifies for the following challenges:

• Crazy 4 Challenges - Cupcakes
• Fussy & Fancy - Pink and Black
• Our Creative Corner - Embossing (dry or heat)

Here is my card using all 5 challenges:

Stamps: Birthday Cupcake (Inkadinkado); Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pretty in Pink; Ink: Versafine Black, Momento Black; Accessories: perfect dots embossing folder, pretty in pink satin ribbon, scallop edge punch, markers, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping in this afternoon - I'm in the process of packing up my daughter for 4H Camp tomorrow, but I'm *hoping* to create one more tonight! Ciao!

Hip-hippo-ray!!

Cindy Haffner gave us a nice, simple, clean sketch this week over at Crazy 4 Challenges...I went through all my "older" SU paper and dug out some fav's that I've been saving, but now I don't have to save them anymore - Riding Hood Red and Baja are both coming back, and I can't wait!! I don't have to HOARD them! hahaha! Thanks for such an awesome sketch, Cindy!

Stamps: Pun Fun; Ink: Versafine Black, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red; Paper: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, SU! DP (retired); Accessories: clear embossing powder, heat gun, sahara marker, blender pen, nestabilities, Baja ribbon, hodgepodge hardware (ribbon slider), dimensionals

Don't forget to check out my BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY! I am celebrating my 100K in sales, over 25K blog hits, and all the wonderful PEEPS in blogger land who comment and support me in my crafting endeavors! Good luck!!
