"Hello" - A Cut Above Sept Challenge

 

Happy Monday! I am back with another post for the "A Cut Above" Creative Team! 

If you aren’t familiar with A Cut Above, we share monthly challenges that are all about die-cutting. The challenges are always anything goes - with the condition of at least one die cut used (defined by using a die cut machine, manual or electronic, not a purchased pre-fabricated die cut).

For this month's card, I used some 3D pop out images that you can layer and I love how it turned out. I die cut my white panel and "hello" and then layered my flowers and then added some glittery gems. So pretty!

Happy 'Krafty Chicks' Thursday! 

Wow, we are already into September?! Crazy how fast the time goes by the older you get LOL. My granddaughter started Kindergarten this week, the leaves are changing colors, the air is crisp in the mornings/evenings - FALL is coming! :)

The first week of every month is our "BIRTHDAY" theme and this is hosted by none other than our wonderful Leanne. So break out anything birthday related and come on over and join us - we would love to have you!

My card is the last of a kit I purchased a year or so ago and I've used all the birthday cards up. Might be time to replenish a kit or two. They are great to have on hand, been a life-saver for me during this extremely busy summer!

September 1st already! Wow - summer is almost over and I don't know about you but it sure flew by for me. It's a bit more difficult for me to get into my craft room in the summer months so I am very thankful I had a stash of cards at the ready for challenges all summer LOL...

It's time for another "Anything Goes" challenge over at Love to Craft Challenge Blog and cannot wait for you to come and join in the fun.

I know in my family, the guys usually get the short end of the stick. That's why I am glad we have this masculine challenge each month so I can stock up ha!!

I was going through my scrap box and came across this designer paper and the trees were already stamped on a scrap piece of white cardstock so I took full advantage and whipped a card up with those. I love this color combo! Here's a close up:

This card is from a super cute card kit from Doodlebug Design called "Party Time." Full of fun papers, colors and elements, it's easy to whip up a cute card in no time, excellent for days when I am short on time in the craft room.

I wanted my card to have some color with the sentiment white - so I got inky. I found a card to CASE on Pinterest and I made it my own version with a polka dot stencil instead of hearts. It was actually a fairly quick card to make! Here's a close up of my card:
