Sunday Inspiration with SP & Co. Stamps!

Happy Sunday everyone! Central Alberta got hit once again by Old Man Winter on Thursday and so we're dealing with the after math of that snowfall - I am really looking forward to spring/summer months! We have been pretty fortunate this year as far as snowfall and cold temps, but I am still looking forward to flip flops and sun tans! :)

Today I am showing y'all some more wonderful Sunday Inspiration at SP & Co. Stamps! I decided to give another CAS card a whirl and I really think it turned out great - pretty colors from Colour Q and a wonderful sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping made it super easy and fun! Check it out:

Here's my CAS card using both challenges and a sentiment from All Zipped Up:

Stamps: All Zipped Up (SP & Co.); Paper: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party (I didn't have Cool Carribean), Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise; Ink: Rich Razzleberry; Accessories: Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, 3-Trio flower punch, pearls, dimensionals

I am also entering my card into the following challenges:

PPC meets Clean and Simple Stamping...

Happy Monday and welcome to November! How was your Halloween night?! Ours was awesome :) Kimberly went with a friend out trick-or-treating and Calvin and I went to Millet to see Tamie and the clan. Calvin went out with her son, Robin, and a ton of candy was brought home and oodles of fun was had by all! Now to start preparing for the guy in the big red suit...giggle!

But first, let's get onto Megan's challenge of colors this week over at Picture Perfect Creations....I must admit, she had me stumped for quite some time on this set of beauties. Tamie and I got the pleasure of stamping together and we got them figured out. I hopped on over to Clean and Simple Stamping blog to see what their challenge was this week, and it was perfect for what I had in mind. I wanted to attempt using these colors for either Christmas or winter and I think I accomplished it! Here ya go:

Stamps: Patterned Pines (star), Four the Holidays; Paper: Whisper White; Ink: Cajun Craze; Accessories: snowflake punch, mini trio punch, pearls, dimensionals, pear pizzazz ribbon
Thanks for stopping in...be sure to check out the rest of the design team's blogs - they made some AWESOME creations this week! Their blog addy's are on the right-hand sidebar. I cannot wait to see what y'all come up with along with us! Happy stamping....

CAS meets Color Throwdown

Have you missed me?! OMGOSH life has been totally c-r-a-z-y for me lately and I was really going through some serious crafting withdrawls! My DH got invited to go sheep hunting for the weekend so I'm taking full advantage of some time in my craft room while he's gone :)

I hopped on over to the Clean and Simple Challenge Blog and found this pretty sketch:

...and then went over to The Color Throwdown and found this gorgeous color combo:

...and here is my simple card that I made while chatting with my good friend, Leanne, on the phone...thanks for crafting with me girlie!....

Stamps: Elements of Style, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red, Whisper White, So Saffron; Ink: Memento Black; Accessories: markers, scallop edge punch, scallop oval punch, oval punches, brads, dimensionals
I am *starting* to really enjoy making simple cards :) They are quick but still pretty! Thanks for stopping in tonight and keep an eye out for me to return tomorrow with another installment - I have a hair appointment and then I will be back in the craft room for the evening :) Yay!

SPCC - CC#60 and CAS

Welcome back to another installment of Samantha's color challenge over at Scrapmaster's Paradise! I decided to give the Clean and Simple Challenge Blog another whirl...I really like this sketch because I wanted to use flowers - worked out super! :) As I said in my previous post, I have difficulty doing CAS stamping, so this being my 2nd attempt, I think it is more simple :) And ya know, ..it wasn't so hard this time around!!!

Stamps: Heard from the Heart, Petals and Stems (Verve); Paper: Whisper White; Ink: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight; Accessories: clear blocks, scissors, dimensionals

Be sure to check out the other Color Combo Diva's blogs (on the right-hand sidebar) and leave them some lovin! Link back your creations using our colors on the SP blog and good luck!!

Sunday 5-in-1

Hello everyone out there in BLOGGER land! It feels soooo good to craft "just cuz" :) It's been a long time since I've had the time to sit and make something that isn't just for design team work, and it feels fantastic!

Today, Tamie, let me know of a few challenges that are happening this week and she is also the Guest Designer this month over at Sweet Stamping Challenge Blog and their challenge is "Pink," so that was my starting point. I needed a sketch, so I hopped on over to the Clean and Simple Stamping Challenge Blog and found this:

...I have been wanting to "attempt" a clean-and-simple card for some time now and I think I did ok (didn't I?) *giggle* I find CAS cards very difficult and this one {might be} a bit too detailed even still...I will work on it and maybe create a few more tonight *wink*

My card also qualifies for the following challenges:

Here is my card using all 5 challenges:

Stamps: Birthday Cupcake (Inkadinkado); Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pretty in Pink; Ink: Versafine Black, Momento Black; Accessories: perfect dots embossing folder, pretty in pink satin ribbon, scallop edge punch, markers, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping in this afternoon - I'm in the process of packing up my daughter for 4H Camp tomorrow, but I'm *hoping* to create one more tonight! Ciao!
