Joy, Love, Peace

Happy Monday everyone! The big day is only 2 days away - are you ready? I am - FINALLY! :) I spent the day with my kids yesterday (teaching Kim how to cook a turkey dinner - and man, was it delicious!) and then I will be having another large family gathering at my house on the 28th. I am hoping to relax a bit in between and do some crafting!

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with this pretty Christmas card:

For this pretty Christmas card, I dug out this gorgeous stamp from Unity Stamp Co. It's one of my all-time favorite coffee stamps :)

You can use any color you wish with this stamp - it's such a bold, wow-factor stamp! I just love it. I added some puff paint to the bottom of the cup for some added fun!

Thank you so much for stopping in today. Cheers!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Wow, November 28th already...where oh where does the time go?! It was JUST summer time a blink ago wasn't it? And now, the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations is upon us! I haven't even started shopping - ACK! But...on a good note, ALL my Christmas cards are out in the mail as of tomorrow. Including this beauty I am bringing you today over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers

I started by stamping the sentiment and coffee cup with Cherry Cobbler and cut out the mug with it's matching die. I believe this is from Lil' Inker Designs...

I added the layers - plaid paper, woodgrain strip, vellum circle, greenery, ribbon, then I popped up the sentiment and coffee cup to give it some extra dimension.

I LOVE plaid and these colors are so pretty together! It reminds me of a traditional Christmas...I added a few sequins to give it a bit of bling and finish it off :)

Thanks for stopping in today and seeing what I've been up to! Enjoy your Wednesday! Cheers!

SPCC #129 - Celebrate the Season

Welcome back! This week's color combo from SPCC helped me get yet another Christmas card completed and out of the way :) Gotta like it when that happens. Like I've mentioned in past posts, I am attempting to make all my Design Team commitment cards into Christmas cards (no matter what the challenge/color is) and so far, so good!!! Here's Samantha's color palette for the week:

For my card, I inked up Ornamental Trees from SP & Co. in Chocolate Chip ink and stamped them on Pool Party then cut them out and "popped up" the middle tree with dimensionals. I wanted to make the background look as if it was snowing behind the trees, so I used Swiss Dots embossing folder for that effect...The sentiment is from Cutest Gingerbread Man (also an SP & Co. stamp set).

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Raise The Bar - It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas
2 Sisters - Punches/Dies
CropStop: Punching your way around the holidays
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle: Holiday card
Secret Crafter: Inspiration Photo (I took the tree theme!)

SPCC #125 - Crafting with Jackie (and a DT call!)

This week at Scrapmaster's Paradise, our color combo is a soft, pastel-y one :) My sister was here for the weekend and when I asked her "what should I stamp with these colors?" she promptly said, "ornaments!" Ohhhhh....so I ran to my stamp cupboard and grabbed my stamp set of fancy ornaments and my snowflake embossing folder - here is the finished product:

I had a lot of fun crafting with my sister this weekend - she doesn't get much free time to do it and my kids helped out a lot so that she "could" stamp with me :) Thanks again, Jackie!!

Samantha is looking for some new Divas for SP & Co. Stamps - click HERE for more info :)

Please take some time this week to sit and get inky with us - it can be a 3D project, card, scrapbook page, you name it, we wanna see it! Link up your creation HERE so we can leave you some luvin's too :) Happy crafting!
