KCC #474 {SKETCH CHALLENGE}

Happy 'Krafty Chicks' Thursday everyone! Today, it's miss Tangii's turn to play your challenge hostess and she's issuing the following "SKETCH" twist for our Anything Goes challenge this week:

KCC #474 {SKETCH}

Our challenges are always Anything Goes with the twist, so you can choose to use the twist or not - totally up to you!

For my card this week, I decided to kinda "stretch the sketch" a bit lol...I didn't follow the circle part and flipped my sentiment to the other side...this is why it's called a challenge, right?! :)

Here's a close up of my card:

Thanks for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over to the blog to see what the rest of the Chicks have created using Tangii's "stars and stripes" twist. Cheers!

KCC #473 {Thank You}

Happy 'Krafty Chicks' Thursday everyone! Today, it's miss Tangii's turn to play your challenge hostess and she's issuing the following twist for our Anything Goes challenge this week:

KCC #473 {THANK YOU}

Our challenges are always Anything Goes with the twist, so you can choose to use the twist or not - totally up to you! For my card this week, I decided to make a very clean-and-simple card and to me, the stamps here totally do all the work for me. All products are Stampin' Up! and it was made at our ladies Stamp Night a few months back using a 2-step technique.

Thanks for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over to the Hen House HERE to see what the rest of the Chicks have created using Tangii's "thank you" twist. Cheers!

KCC #472 {Border Stamps}

Happy "Krafty Chicks" Thursday! Nance is our challenge hostess for this week and her crafty twist is to use "border stamps" on your projects.

KCC #472 {Border Stamps}

I went rummaging through all my stamp sets and I wasn't coming up with ANY border stamps...yikes! Then, I came across an older set from Reverse Confetti and decided to emboss it! So pretty...

The "love story" die is from Echo Park and I cut it out of gold glitter paper. Although it's a bit hard to read in the photos, it's so pretty in real life - I promise. *wink*

Be sure to hop on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge blog to check out what the rest of the Chicks have in store for you! There is some awesome inspiration in the hen house this week! Don't forget - you do NOT have to use the weekly twist in your project, but we would sure love it if you did! Thanks! Cheers....

Just Breathe...

 Happy Monday everyone! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog, sharing today's Caffeinated Creativity with you all. This card was made at my ladies stamping club night this past Tuesday and man, it was messy but OH SO FUN to make!

The background was made on shimmer paper with Stampin' Up!'s new color Sprinkle Dust (I am not 100% sure of the name of them) and some water. Then we used stencils and added waterbased ink on top with a very soft make up brush and it gave the background effect. SO COOL!

I then added the sentiment with white embossing powder and also stamped the to-go mug from Simon Says Stamp set "Coffee and Tea."

I fussy cut the cup and colored in my hearts with my copic markers then popped it up for added dimension. Added some white gum drops and that's it! Such an awesome technique! I will definitely be doing it again - it's very messy but oh so fun!

Sorry about the little "flecks" you see in all the photos - it was very difficult to capture the card without the sparkle from the shimmer paper coming through! I hope you have enjoyed this installment of Caffeinated Creativity - enjoy the rest of your Monday! Cheers!

KCC #471 {Balloons}

Welcome back to another "Krafty Chicks" Thursday! This week, it is Leanne's turn to be our hostess-with-the-mostess. Before I get to her challenge, I'd like to welcome Katie Brooks     to the Hen House this month as our Guest CHICK! Be sure to pop on over to her blog and say hello. Welcome, Katie! :)

Leanne has given us the following "twist" to our Anything Goes challenge:

KCC #471 {BALLOONS}

My card was a super CAS one this week - the pattern paper has the ballons, a die cut and a few gum drops - DONE!! Love those kinda cards and I can never have too many birthday cards on hand!!

Please be sure to check out what my other fellow Chicks have created for you using
Leanne's "Balloons" twist:

We would love if you come on over and play along with us this week - remember, it's an Anything Goes challenge with the optional use of the twist :) Cheers!
