"Anything Goes" at Digi Choosday! Week #35

Welcome back to my blog everyone! This week over at Digi Choosday, the challenge is "ANYTHING GOES" but the design team has the theme BACK TO SCHOOL - so you can create anything you like, with our without the BTS theme - so fun!! 

I created a Back-to-School theme card using "Thinking of You" design sheet from the Winnie Fruit Punch Big Bundle downloadable collection from Polkadoodles!

Hello everyone! It's hard to believe that the summer holidays are almost over and Kim will be heading back to school in a few days for her last year of high school....where did the time go? I was just sending her off to Kindergarten!! Time sure flies....

This week, I am combining 2 challenges - one for 4 Crafty Chicks and one for As You Like It. 

This week at 4 Crafty Chicks, it is my turn to be the challenge hostess and my challenge this week is a pretty simple one - use a sentiment on your card :) Easy peesy, right?!

For my card this week, I used this cutie patootie from Sassy Cheryl's - embossed the teal layer and added some gumdrops and my HELLO sentiment - done! Easy peesy!

Wish BIG!

Happy Sunday! This morning I am enjoying the quiet and stillness of the house and of course my strong, delicious coffee! It is supposed to be a warm one today so figured I would sit and get some blogging done now then will head out for some yard/garden work later on. Autumn is coming very quick here in central Alberta, CANADA...the leaves are already changing, the crops are being harvested - some earlier than normal. Winter will be here soon (yay!) and ya, before you pelt me with rocks and bad words, sorry, but it's my favorite time of the year. I get some downtime and get to rest and craft more = BONUS!!! :) 

Alright - onto why you are here today....this month, over at One Crazy Stamper, the challenge is Autumn and/or Halloween. I don't do much for Halloween normally, but I did have this cutie colored up already on my desk and figured I would add some fall papers and enter him in the challenge!

This will make the perfect birthday card for my nephew, Cooper, as he loves to fish and he always wishes big! I colored this cutie from High Hopes Stamps with Copic Markers and popped up the stamped layer with some foam tape then added some glitter gumdrops.

A Just for Fun Card!?!....What the what????

Welcome back to my blog everyone - yes, you read that title right - I made a "just for fun" card while I was chatting with my bestie, Leanne, last night and decided to go find some challenges to enter! It's been quite a while since I've made a card "just cuz," Usually, I am preparing projects for my DT's and getting ahead of the game :) 

This beauty is part of a card kit from Paper Sweeties, but I made it my own...I added the coffee pot/cup instead of rolled flowers and switched the location of the stamped images and put them on the right instead of the left ;) I love kits - especially when they are as uber cute as Debbies!!! 

I stamped the coffee pot and cup from the cute set But First, Coffee, colored them with Copic markers then used the matching dies to cut them out. Positioned all my goodies from the kit, glued everything down and wa-laaaaa! Done!

"Favorite Flower" at As You Like It

My favorite flower?! Well...that's a toughie...I don't really have a favorite. I love them all...even weeds that have flowers - they are pretty!! LOL...So, if I was made to make a choice, I would have to say that my favorite would be ROSES. I used roses on the designer paper and also the bouquet she is holding is mostly made up of roses....
