Good morning from a very wintery central Alberta...the thermometer is reading -22C right now and I'm so thankful for my warm, cozy house, coffee and candles this morning! :)

This morning is sort of extra special for me because I get to show off some new goodies! As some of you might be aware, our lovely Samantha from Scrapmaster's Paradise, is trying her hand at creating her own line of stamps....and, since I'm a Design Team member, figured I had better get my hands on some of those and start creating with them. Well, I placed my order online, and they were here in my mailbox on Thursday (it was a very impatient wait for me LOL). They are amazingly gorgeous stamps to work with! I have had such a busy weekend, I finally got to sit down and get inky with a set on Saturday night...I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!

This week's color combo was a real fun one! I loved making this card using these colors and I cannot wait to see what creations come of this one this week:

Stamps: Falling Snow; Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red; Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Versafine Onyx Black; Accessories: scissors, clear embossing powder, heat gun, acrylic blocks, markers, bling, glue pen, dazzling diamonds

Nov and Dec pocket calendar pages

Today is going to be our last and final "official club" gathering for 2010. This day is always so bittersweet for me...I am always looking forward to the break at the end of the year, but it's been so much fun, I don't want to see it end either. It's been such an amazing year again with my ladies. I always think at the end of the year, "Wow, such an awesome year - how am I gonna beat it next year?!" But, it always seems to work out super dooper! I am excited about next year's adventure to see what fun and creative journeys it will take us all...I love being a demonstrator :)

Thanks to all my wonderful 9 ladies in my Usona Stamping Group this year: Melissa, Nancy, Sharon, Diana, Loretta, Bonnie (aka Bon-Bon), Tamie, Anita, Donna - you all made it an amazing time for me! I am excited for things to come!

Ok...enough of that mushy stuff...onto some GOODIES! lol....These are the last 2 "pocket" calendar pages we will be making today. I had some help from my PEEP, Melissa, on these ones. Thanks again girlie!

I know the ladies are going to enjoy making these today! Thanks for stopping in today and be sure to come back tomorrow for more wonderful color challenges from Picture Perfect Creations and Scrapmaster's Paradise! See you then....stay warm!

In Remembrance.....

In Flanders fields the poppies grow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Please take some time today to remember our soldiers, veterans and friends/families who have lost their loved ones - fighting to protect us and our country. We are truly blessed.
