Caffeinated Creativity with Lori - Birthday Coffee!!

 

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is my day to share over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers I am sharing with you a somewhat masculine Birthday card (as I never have enough of them on hand!) for that special coffee-loving man in your life!

 

Isn't that coffee cup just the best? And I love the matching designer papers, the corrugated look of the sleeve from the die along with those hearts - just so much fun! Here's a close up:

Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is HERE!!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog and the annual Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop! This hop (and the Fall/Winter hop) are my favorite times of the year...I am an avid java-lover/crafty girl and seeing all the wonderful coffee-filled creativity is just amazing and it's a great enabling tool ha ha!! 

I had the opportunity to use this amazing digi set from Graciellie Design called Coffee & Flowers. It was such a treat to color up and the color scheme possibilities for this set are just endless..

Just look at those sentiments!! *swoon* Here is my card:

I colored up the gorgeous bouquet and cup with my Copic markers, added some colorful matching color dots and kept it very clean and simple to focus all the highlight on the gorgeous image. I will be using this set A LOT in the future! Thank you so much, Gracie for allowing me to use this beautiful set!

I loved this challenge, Nance! I had a lot of fun - I made this card while visiting my bestie, Leanne, back in February. I followed this tutorial on Splitcoaststampers and got inky! I used Ranger alcohol inks in Raisin, Espresso and Sunset Orange. The With Sympathy die is from Impression Obsession - LOVE how this turned out...thanks for the awesome challenge, Nance!

Coffee is ALWAYS a Good Idea!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog - today is the last Wednesday of the month, so that means it's my turn to share on the the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog.

For my card this week, I used some fun gold foil, stamps from Simon Says Stamp and a wooden veneer from our local dollar store...so fun!!

I started my card by cutting out panels with my My Favorite Things Fishtail Flag dies and then stamping my cups and coffee beans along the bottom of my white background. I adhered my wood veneer coffee cup and wa-laa!! Done! So cute and fun to make.

Sorry for the reflections in the photos in the foil, but it's very difficult to capture the foil without any! lol

For my card this week, I used some of Leanne's crafting goodies when I was visiting her in February...The "Celebrate" die is from Stampin' Up! called Celebrate You Thinlits and the cap die is from Impression Obsession called Grad Cap and Scroll. I also used the Fleur de Lis embossing folder for the background....
