New Recipe at 4 Crafty Chicks

Happy Thursday! Today is another exciting challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks, hosted by none other than our wonderful, Tamie. She's bringing us a recipe challenge to use 1 Ribbon, 2 DSP, 3 Buttons...I found this sketch over at Stampin' Royalty last week and it was perfect for the card I wanted to make....

I didn't even notice until Leanne brought it to my attention that i used THREE DSP, not two! My oops! The stamp is from Crazy for Cupcakes ... it looks good enough to eat - YUMMY!

Please be sure to check out the rest of the Chicks' blogs (links are on the right-hand sidebar) and take some time to play along with us - it is PRIZE WEEK after all! Happy creating!

Bo Bunny "Olivia" Card Kit

Good morning :) I have all of my Design Team obligations all done for the next 4 weeks, so now I can sit back, relax, and play for FUN (not saying DT work isn't fun, but this is just muckin' time now) hee hee....I was digging through some "stashes" that I have had hoarded for a while now and came across a couple card kits. This particular one, "Olivia," from Bo Bunny caught my eye due to the colors. So, I thought in between cleaning my house and doing school with the kids yesterday, I would whip these ones up....hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Later PEEPS!

Scrapmaster's Paradise #93

Welcome back! If you are looking for my Picture Perfect Creations or Totally Stampalicious posts, please scroll down :)

Samantha has given us a very "interesting" color combination this week! I stared at these colors for a few minutes and then found a couple different stamp sets to use with it. I started with SP's Mini Card Creations II and then masked the edges and filled in the square with Circle Circus.

Stamps: SP Mini Card Creations, Circle Circus; Paper: Perfect Plum, River Rock, Melon Mambo, Whisper White; Ink: Melon Mambo, River Rock, Perfect Plum; Accessories: tulip EF, melon ribbon, dimensionals

I must admit, the River Rock color threw me off for quite some time on this one. Still not sure I "like" the combo but it's growing on me! LOL...that's why we do these challenges, RIGHT?!

I hope you have a fantastic day today - take some time to sit and be creative. Link up your card, scrapbook page or 3D project back at the SPCC Challenge blog site and I'll catch up with y'all later! Thanks for stopping in!

Totally Stampalicious Challenge - Make a Card for Your BFF

Welcome back to another Totally Stampalicious challenge - the last one for March. Can you believe how fast time is whizzin' by? I am really hoping that Spring is right around the corner and the snow starts melting soon to let the flowers pop up and the green grass poke through! With the height of our piles of snow, that will be a while, but I am still looking forward to it! :) This week's challenge at TS is to make a card for our BFF....my wonderful friend, Tamie, is celebrating her birthday on Wednesday, so this one is for her :) I used an older sketch from Card Patterns and an older color combo from ColourQ....hope you enjoy this new Scarlette!

Stamps: Present Scarlette; Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler, Peach Parfait; Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Peach Parfait, Early Espresso; Accessories: markers, nestabilities, embossing folders, espresso ribbon, pearls, dimensionals, sponge, oval punch, scallop oval punch

4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #30 - Eyelets!

Happy Thursday PEEPS! It's my turn this week to play "Hostess-With-The-Mostess" over at 4 Crafty Chicks and I decided to throw out a challenge using EYELETS! They have been forgotten about in my crafting stash, that much is true....I headed in search of a color combo and came across this very "spring inspiring" combo from Inkspirations Color Challenge Blog:

The Mojo Monday sketch challenge this week worked perfectly for my stamp set that I wanted to use:

Stamps: Easter Blossoms, Best Yet; Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight, Daffodil Delight DP; Ink: Early Espresso; Accessories: EE marker, rose eyelets, crop-a-dile, circle punches, scallop circle punch, finial press embossing folder, daffodil ribbon, eyelet border punch, dimensionals

With all this snow that's been falling the past few days, I am REALLY looking forward to spring getting here - this card helped perk up my mood a bit - hope it does for you too! Be sure to check out the other creations that Leanne, Melissa and Tamie created...I know they will lighten your mood too! :)

Thanks for stopping in this morning. Be sure to link up your creation (using eyelets) to the 4 Crafty Chicks website before Tuesday, March 29th at midnight MST!! Happy stamping!!

Ink Pad/Re-inker/Marker & Copic Marker Storage Units for Sale

** EDITED TO ADD ** July 16, 2013

For Copic Marker holder info, please scroll to bottom of post :) Thank you!

Hello everyone! My super-talented Dad has started making these wonderful units and I told him I would try to market them for him...here's a little blurb about them:

** These storage units come pre-finished, and are made from solid wood, with hard-board shelves and back. The smallest sized unit holds 15 pads, 15 pens and 15 re-inkers. They can be provided in multiples of 15 (e.g: 15, 30, 45, 60) etc. The individual shelves are removable, so if desired, the spacing can be altered. The vertical hard-board members are not removable. Although the units are designed to sit on a desk and are equipped with 4 “foot pads,” the unit could be wall mounted. They measure 19 ½ inches high, by 5 inches deep. A “60” unit is 26 3/8 inches wide, including the trim.**

For cost and shipping details, please view his Etsy page, GFWoodshop, by clicking HERE. You can also contact Gerald via email HERE. He is located in southern Alberta, CANADA. Please scroll down to the very bottom and view all types of units.

***EDITED February 3, 2012 ***

My Dad had a request to make a Close to My Heart stamp pad/marker/reinker unit as the reinkers are a wee bit bigger than the Stampin' Up! reinkers. This holder is a 75 unit:

Here is the unit filled after being delivered to the customer, Allisa from Rocky Mountain Paper Crafts:

And...here is a size comparison picture of the SU 60 unit and the Close to My Heart 75 unit:

** EDITED TO ADD ** SEPTEMBER 10, 2012!!

My Dad asked me to add this photo of a new unit he has created for another client upon her request. This unit now holds SPONGE DAUBERS, reinker bottles, markers and ink pads!! What an awesome way to organize ALL ink aspects of your craft room!!!

Thanks again for stopping in! If you are interested or have questions, please do not hesitate to contact my Dad, Jerry Fraser, via email at spearthrower@live.ca

** EDITED TO ADD ** JULY 16, 2013!!

My Dad has just recently plunged into the whole world of Copic Marker storage!! He made me this gorgeous holder for my birthday and is selling them in his Etsy Shop, GFWoodshop. You can find them HERE!  Or by emailing Gerry at spearthrower@live.ca

Scrapmaster's Color Challenge #92

Welcome back! As you've probably read from my earlier post, I am home from our Disney World Orlando trip, and I just have to say that all this snow falling isn't making my mood any better! LOL...we had so much sunshine and warm weather that it is sure hard getting used to all this white stuff again! :) Thanks to everyone who commented on my cards while I was away - I sure appreciate each and every one of them! I'm very happy that Blogger didn't have any glitches and that all posts scheduled on time :)

Samantha has a warm, rich color combo for this week's challenge and I decided to use an older stamp set from my SU stash:

Stamps: Wandering Words; Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede; Ink: none; Accessories: markers, daffodil ribbon, button, hemp twine, vintage wallpaper embossing folder

Be sure to check out the rest of the SP Diva's blogs on my right sidebar - I know they have some beautiful creations to show you! Speaking of SP Divas...would you like to be one? Samantha has issued a Design Team call on our blog HERE so be sure to check out all the details and get your entry in soon! It's an amazing team to be on...just sayin' *wink*

PPC Specialty Challenge #5 - 'Show Us Your Creative Space!"

Happy Monday! I am home from Disney World in Orlando, FL and I just have to say that I am NOT happy to be home with all this white stuff falling and the cold temps! LOL...I know, I know..it's a lot warmer now than when I left, but still - we came from +30C in Orlando to -5C here and about 6-8" of new fallen snow! ACK!

Our vacation was absolutely amazing! Disney was phenomenal, our weather was perfect, the company was awesome and we were quite sad to fly home, I must admit! It was a glorious break away and I can't wait to head out on our next tropical vacation (whenever that will be! LOL)

Alright....back to reality right?! Megan is issuing another "specialty" challenge for this week. For this challenge, you are to "Show us Your Creative Space." I took a couple pics for you so that you can see where I do things:

My office/craft room consists of a large L-shaped desk that is made up of about 3 different pieces all put together. This is my "computer" area.

Directly behind me at my computer area is my "stamp cupboards and punches wall" where I keep all my punches on Ikea towel bars - works super great! Just need to find a way to store all the NEW Stampin' Up! punches that don't have handles....

Directly to the right of my stamp cupboards and punches are my inks/buttons/brads/eyelets wall.

This is an up close shot of my inks/refills/marker holder. My Dad has started to make these now and sell them, so if anyone is interested, let me know! They work awesome and can either be hung on the wall or stand on your desk.

So, there you have it - a few shots of my crafty area....I could take a lot more shots, but I focused on the main areas of interest (and the clean ones! hahahah)

Thanks for stopping in and be sure to take a few shots of your creative space and link them to the Picture Perfect Creations challenge site - we are very curious and excited to see where YOU do all of your creating! Stay tuned for a new exciting color combo from Scrapmaster's Paradise! Ciao!
