Great crafting day!

This is the 2-page layout I worked on last night and today. It is a kit I get from Monday Night Class in their monthly scrapbook club. I love the colors!!

This is a 2-page layout that Leanne created for pictures of my daughter...Gorgeous!

A sympathy card that Leanne made today with scraps from my scrapbox...Awesome!

Birthday Stamp-A-Stack highlights.....

Yesterday I held my 2nd Birthday Stamp-A-Stack and what a great afternoon it turned out to be. Great card ideas (ha ha...yep, tootin' my own horn), good tunes, and most of all, great company made the day awesome! My life-long friend, Leanne, came from Whitecourt and my youngest and craziest sister, Jackie, came from Sherwood Park to partake in the stamping frenzy (you'll understand why I say "craziest" in the photos to follow). Thanks for traveling so far to come join us! Congratulations to all the winners of the door prizes and hope you enjoy your goodies! Here are a few highlights of the day ....

Leanne and I just before we headed out to the school for some stamping fun...what a pair of gorgeous ladies.... :)

Another completed kit!

My daughter and I sat down and made some cards from a Basic Grey kit. It went very well and the cards were a lot of fun to make. Everything is pre-cut and the embellishments are sticker-backed chipboard. The kit came with rub-on's and I used a stamp or two on them as well. They were all inked with brown ink as well.....Enjoy!

A Quiet Moment....

This is another kit from Monday Night Class. Isn't it wonderful? I love their style of scrapbooking - I really do! Thank goodness I stumbled across them at our retreat at The Bloomin' Inn! :) Hope you are having a wonderful May long weekend. My DH is about to arrive home shortly, and I can't wait to see him. I haven't been feeling very good today so it will be nice to have him here....take care!
