Here to Decorate Your House.....

Happy Saturday everyone!

I am back with another installment from The Project Bin! I am trying to get a little stash of Halloween cards done and ready for my nieces and nephews and this set is a perfect one to help with that!!

I decided to have a bit of fun with the "Creepy Halloween" stamp set and some Distress Oxide inks and an embossing folder...I got this idea from a lady on the Coffee Blog hop and man, it's FUN! You rub your ink on your embossing folder, squirt some water on it to make it activate, then add your paper and run it through the Big Shot - done! Instant cool background!

Pawsitively Sweet with Heffy Doodles!

Happy Friday everyone!

I received my goodies from Heffy Doodle Stamps a couple weeks ago but haven't had much time in my crafty room to work on "for fun" cards....today is another very cold, wet and dreary here in central Alberta, CANADA...so you know what that meant right? Yep. Hubby and I went to town and did a few errands this morning, then as soon as I got home, I changed into my warm, fuzzy PJ pants, a hoodie and some slippers then grabbed a fresh coffee and got busy!

Isn't he just the SWEETEST lion ever?!? He's a part of the "ad-roar-able lions" stamp set and there are matching dies ta boot! I got out my distress oxide inks, did some sponging and cut out my panel with my wonky stitched die from Craftin Desert Divas.

I stamped the cutie lion, crown and ice cream cone on Xpress It Copic paper then colored them with my Copic Markers and die cut them and put the image together. The sentiment was stamped with my Hero Arts Intense Black ink.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

CAS on Friday - use a die
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Creative Moments - Anything Goes
Day Dreamer Challenges - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping in - I sure appreciate the visit!! Stay warm and caffeinated! Cheers!!

Fall 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day #7 with Paper Sweeties!

2017 fall hop

Welcome back to day #7 of the The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! It started last Friday and I have been so thrilled to participate this go-round, as I didn't get a chance in the Spring hop!

Now, I know I didn't *really* use Fall colors for this sweet card, but I have seen the odd card with pops of pretty pink and my "Crazy for Coffee" paper from YNS had some sweet pink coffee patterns - so that's what I went with!! :) Too fun!

I started out with my "With Love" heart Sweet Cuts then cut out my cute coffee cup with my "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" Sweet Cuts. The steam was cut from Crumb Cake using "Homemade With Love" Sweet Cuts. The sentiment was stamped in brown using a sentiment from "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" stamp set! I just LOVE how this card came together! :) The sweet sequins are our "Bubblegum" series - adorable!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Die Cuttin Divas - Coffee Day/Shades of Brown

This pre-colored cutie I found at Digi Web Studio fit the bill perfect - she's adorable!! I printed her out on Xpress It! Copic paper and then stamped the "hello" sentiment with my Versafine Onyx Black ink. I finished the image panel off by cutting it out with my wonky stitched rectangle dies from Craftin Desert Divas...

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx
Paper: Whisper White, Xpress It! Copic Paper, Real Red

Fall 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - thanks

2017 fall hop

Welcome back to my blog everyone!

The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop started Friday and I am sharing my 4th card in celebration of Fall and coffee....

As I was hopping and commenting on the amazing entries this morning, I came across this amazing technique from Hetty Sanders - to use distress oxide inks in an embossing folder - and I *had* to try it!! To see Hetty's GORGEOUS cards and the tutorial, click HERE....thank you, Hetty!!! It was fun :)

I used my "leafy branches" embossing folder and my Distress Oxide inks to create this oh-so-cool background. I then die cut the coffee cup (uncertain of brand), and added a thanks from MFT on the plaid strip - I had to add 2 gumdrops to the top corners ;) I love how this turned out...so happy I came across Hetty's post!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Die Cuttin Divas - Coffee Day/Shades of Brown
