Coffee and a Good Friend

Happy Monday folks! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. T'is the season for Christmas parties, get-together's and late nights lol...It has been pretty crazy for me the past couple weeks so I am hoping for some quieter evenings so I can finish up some Christmas cards and get to decorating my house! I am wanting to see my cute snowmen and my tree out and making my house festive :) How about you? Are you completely done and ready for the holidays or just getting started? I am just getting started....lol

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today featuring this super cute and fun card made from goodies from Your Next Stamp.

Coffee Cuties is the name of this super cute set - it features these 2 friends in the coffee cup and the sentiment. There is also a matching die for the coffee mug!

I used the Window Panel Die and layered a light yellow gingham designer paper behind then added the image with foam dots for dimension. Super cute and fun!

Thanks for stopping in today - be sure to find some crafty time in among all the hustle and bustle of the very busy Christmas season! Cheers!

Latte Happy Vibes...

Happy Monday everyone! I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog sharing this Caffeinated Creativity project with you all.

Before I get to all that, I would like to take this time to say THANK YOU to all of those men and women who have served and are still serving our country for our freedom. You will not be forgotten. Please remember to take a moment of silence at 11 am. xoxoxoxo

I ordered a bunch of goodies from Your Next Stamp and had some fun with this cute set called Latte Happy Vibes - and it has matching dies! The images in this set are so adorable - I can't wait to make other cute coffee projects with it. Here are some close up's:

I stamped the cute skateboarding duo on Xpress It Copic paper and colored them with my copic markers, cut them out with the matching die and used foam squares to pop them up on the frame. This coffee paper pad is so fun - love the colors!

Thank you so much for stopping in today! Enjoy your Monday - cheers!

coffee, coffee, coffee!!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers BLOG sharing some "Caffeinated Creativity" with you all.

Mother Nature decided to unleash some nasty white stuff on us yesterday morning so now our ground is covered with a couple inches of snow. It's too early yet. I do love the winter and snow, but we need to get our crops off first...THEN she can unleash all she wants LOL! We are scheduled for more snow today, but we are hoping the weather people are wrong and we start getting some decent temperatures.

Ok, onto my card. I wanted to use my new-to-me stamp set/dies from Reverse Confetti - called Drink More Coffee. I went to Pinterest for some ideas on how to use the set and I came across this GORGEOUS card from Jen del Muro and I had to CASE it...

I tweaked mine a bit - adding another layer of espresso card stock under the main panel, coloring in my hearts on the foam in the coffee cups, moved my coffee die panels over to the right of the card and added some pearls for more detail. The coffee cup designer paper is from the coffee pad at Your Next Stamp. Thank you, Jen, for such an awesome, EASY card to create with this fun set!

Thank you so much for stopping in today! I hope you have enjoyed this installment of Caffeinated Creativity - grab yourself a warm drink and enjoy the rest of your Monday! Cheers!

Merry Monday #272 {Glasses}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Leanne is our hostess and she's looking for us to use GLASSES on our cards:

For my card I used this cute set from Your Next Stamp called "Clink." I apologize for the poor quality pictures...I tried a couple different ways to take them to capture the black panel, but black is hard to capture - and then realized as I was adding my watermark, that you can see some glue on the top left hand corner. SOOOO sorry!

The "cheers" die is from My Favorite Things and the background stitched circles die and double stitched panel die is from Gina Marie Designs.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Crafting From the Heart - Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Leanne's "glasses" challenge! Cheers!

This Girl Runs on... COFFEE!

fall-hop-with-date

I am back with another yummy coffee card for the 2016 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I decided to distress the coffee cup and papers a bit with some distress ink and I popped up the coffee cup with foam tape. The circle dies behind the cup and the "coffee" die are from Your Next Stamp...

going in circles at 4 crafty chicks

Happy "4 Crafty Chicks" Thursday everyone! The leaves are changing colors, the temperatures are falling, the air is crisp and fresh here in central Alberta, CANADA. Fall is here. I love the colors! I am hoping to get in a few more back yard firepit sessions before it's too cold or that snow stuff comes...maybe this weekend!

This week over at 4 Crafty Chicks, our hostess-with-the-mostess is miss Tamie and she wants to see CIRCLES on our projects this week. Please remember, it can be a 3D craft, card, scrapbook layout, etc.

4 CC #264 - CIRCLES

4 CC #263 and ayli #62

Happy Thursday! Today I am combining 2 DT challenges into one card. That doesn't happen very often but this week, it all worked out :)

The challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks is "BIRTHDAY" as it is Tina's turn to play hostess and her birthday falls in this week! Happy Birthday friend! For my card, I am using some new to me Your Next Stamp dies (the balloon and the Happy Birthday)

And the challenge at As You Like It is to "USE  YOUR FAVORITE DIE" and tell why it's your favorite. I used my stitched rectangle die from 'Lil Inker Designs...I use my rectangle dies A LOT...almost every card. They are extremely versatile and make a crisp, defined outline on any layer or image panel :)

Here's a bit of info on our sponsor for this challenge at As You Like It:

Be sure to hop on over to each of the blogs and play along - we'd love to have you!! Each design team has creations that will knock your socks off - so be sure to pop in ;) Cheers!

4 CC #261 Funky Hair

Happy Thursday everyone :)

Can you believe that school starts on Monday for our area?! No, I can't either - and it's a bit weird this year ... I only have one going back. Kim is in her 11th year and it's a full one. Summer holidays sure seem to fly by now....you blink and they are over. Maybe I will still get to the lake on a nice warm afternoon and stick my feet in the water and read a book....that would be sweet :)

It is my turn to be challenge hostess over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week. I decided to go a bit "FUNKY" and throw out the following challenge:

4 CC #261 Unusually Colored Hair

For my card, I colored up an image from Lacy Sunshine and made it using bright designer papers and gumdrops....for my SK8R letters, I used the Cute Alpha Set and Cute Alpha set Die from Your Next Stamp:

Come on over to the challenge blog HERE and see what the rest of the girls have got for you to drool over - there are some pretty funky cards :) Cheers!
