MM #284 {Red and White}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Marcia is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "red and white" on our cards:

I decided to do a very CAS card for Marcia's challenge but I love the WOW factor it produced:

I just used a simple, gorgeous snowflake embossing folder from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from Hero Arts and I embossed it with white embossing powder. Very simple but so pretty! I love red and white together :)

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Marcia's "red and white" challenge! Cheers!

MM #283 {Puppy Fun}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Leanne is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "a puppy" on our cards:

This little guy from High Hopes Stamps fit the challenge perfectly...isn't he adorable?

I paper pieced the coffee mug and colored the rest of the image with my Copics then assembed the card with some pretty Christmas papers from Moda Scrap...

MM #282 Believe in the Magic of Christmas

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, Linda is our hostess and she's looking for us to use the following "inspiration photo" for the jump-off point for our cards:

I came across this super fun video from Jennifer McGuire and decided to give it a try. WHAT FUN! I can totally see myself using this set over and over for future one layer Christmas cards! Thank you, Jennifer!

The stamp set is called Holiday Style from Sunny Studio and it's so versatile! There is a bell in the set too so you can do either that or an ornament like I did. I chose the greenery and red from Linda's photo as my inspiration!

MM #281 {Wishing you a Cup of Cheer}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Kim is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "the photo inspiration" on our cards:

Kim's picture reminded me of a peppermint hot chocolate and so I CASE'd Teri's card from Sunny Studio DT (click HERE) and I had a lot of fun making it!

I stamped the cute mug and candy cane on Xpress It Copic paper and colored them up with my Copic Markers. I cut them out with the matching dies and then found some cute Christmas paper from Lawn Fawn and assembled my card:

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, Kelly is our hostess and she's looking for us to use the following inspiration photo as the jump-off point for our cards:

For my card this week, I decided to use the red, green and stars from Kelly's photo and I CASE'd Cathy Zielske's AMAZING card HERE using the Hero Arts 12-point Infinity Stars dies....

The sentiment is from Poster Christmas Carols from Hero Arts....this card is sooooo fun to make and what WOW factor! The video is so easy to follow - thank you Cathy!

Merry Monday #279 {Poinsettias}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss JoAnn is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "poinsettias" on our cards:

I attended an income tax course on Thursday in the city and decided to make a long weekend excursion out of it and came to see my bestie, Leanne! I am having the extreme pleasure of crafting with her in her awesome crafty space and she's been so gracious to let me use all her supplies!

GIRLS WEEKEND!!!! :)

For my card, I let the designer paper do most of the work for JoAnn's challenge - it's so gorgeous! I then added a "merry" die and Christmas sentiment using the stamp/die set from Hero Arts called "Merry."

MM #275 {Pastel Colors!}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Sue is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "pastel colors" on our cards:

I wanted to CASE a beautiful Christmas card I received from one of our girls, Sandy, in our monthly stamping club and it just so happened that I had all the goodies to do it. This is Sandy's GORGEOUS card she made for us:

Isn't that just BEAUTIFUL?!? I dug out my Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up! and got to work...I used a silver paper with Pink Pirouette for a pastel color. The sentiment was cut out using my Fancy Stitched Labels from Craftin' Desert Divas.

Merry Monday #273 {Color Challenge!}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Marcia is our hostess and she's looking for us to use the following color inspiration as our jump-off point on our cards:

I dug out a new-to-me Stampin' Up! set called Snowflake Sentiments and I LOVE THEM!! They are so bold and the font is beautiful...there are sentiments for inside the card as well....very pretty!

I decided to go with some die cut snowflakes to finish off the card and added some glittery red gumdrops to finish it off....hope you like it!

Merry Monday #272 {Glasses}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Leanne is our hostess and she's looking for us to use GLASSES on our cards:

For my card I used this cute set from Your Next Stamp called "Clink." I apologize for the poor quality pictures...I tried a couple different ways to take them to capture the black panel, but black is hard to capture - and then realized as I was adding my watermark, that you can see some glue on the top left hand corner. SOOOO sorry!

The "cheers" die is from My Favorite Things and the background stitched circles die and double stitched panel die is from Gina Marie Designs.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Crafting From the Heart - Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Leanne's "glasses" challenge! Cheers!
