MM #284 {Red and White}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Marcia is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "red and white" on our cards:

I decided to do a very CAS card for Marcia's challenge but I love the WOW factor it produced:

I just used a simple, gorgeous snowflake embossing folder from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from Hero Arts and I embossed it with white embossing powder. Very simple but so pretty! I love red and white together :)

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Marcia's "red and white" challenge! Cheers!

Merry Monday #280 {Inspiration Challenge}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, Kelly is our hostess and she's looking for us to use the following inspiration photo as the jump-off point for our cards:

For my card this week, I decided to use the red, green and stars from Kelly's photo and I CASE'd Cathy Zielske's AMAZING card HERE using the Hero Arts 12-point Infinity Stars dies....

The sentiment is from Poster Christmas Carols from Hero Arts....this card is sooooo fun to make and what WOW factor! The video is so easy to follow - thank you Cathy!

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Kelly's "inspiration photo" challenge! Cheers!

Merry Monday #279 {Poinsettias}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss JoAnn is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "poinsettias" on our cards:

I attended an income tax course on Thursday in the city and decided to make a long weekend excursion out of it and came to see my bestie, Leanne! I am having the extreme pleasure of crafting with her in her awesome crafty space and she's been so gracious to let me use all her supplies!

GIRLS WEEKEND!!!! :)

For my card, I let the designer paper do most of the work for JoAnn's challenge - it's so gorgeous! I then added a "merry" die and Christmas sentiment using the stamp/die set from Hero Arts called "Merry."

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using JoAnn's "poinsetta" challenge! Cheers!
