Welcome back friends! This week at The Pink Elephant, we have a Technique Challenge for you:

TPE #259 {Interactive Cards}

This week, we wanna see some shakers, sliders, spinners, action wobbles, pop-up cards, etc! You name it - if it's interactive, we wanna see 'em!!

I haven't done a shaker card for YEARS, so that's what I decided on for my project this week. I cut my window using my "Lil Inker Designs stitched rectangle die, then filled the shaker with various sequins from Pretty Pink Posh....Added some grass, a sun and a sentiment and wa-laaaa! Instant FUN! :)

Merry Monday #117 {Sequins!}

Welcome back to another week of creative inspiration from the Merry Makers at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge! This week, our challenge hostess is Deanne and she's issuing the following:

WAHOOO! How fun is that?!? Sequins are all the rage right now - and I love 'em! I decided to keep it CAS this week, and dug out an oldie-but-goodie stamp set from Stampin' Up! called The Sounding Joy:

Merry Monday #96 {Use Some Holly}

Happy Merry Monday!

 
The challenge this week is to make a Christmas card with holly on it. I rummaged through my stash of stamps and came across this cute set called Warm Hearts from Paper Smooches then got to work:

 I stamped my images on X-Press It! white cardstock, colored them in with Copic markers and then fussy-cut each one out...I added some sequins and a scalloped border trim and here ya have the finished product:

TPE #237 {Happy Valentine's Day!}

Welcome back to my blog and a brand new challenge from The Pink Elephant!

This week marks the annual "love" holiday - Valentine's Day - to our challenge this week reflects that:

I did something a little different than the usual pink/red/white/hearts/cupid theme and went with some very non-traditional colors for my treat tents:

Everything you see here is mostly from Reverse Confetti and the pretty gold sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh! RC sure makes it easy to put these together in a jiffy! Here are a few more shots of my treat tents:

I will fill up the treat tents once I find some of my hubby's favorite chocolates - however, I am not sure he will even be home for Valentine's Day as he is up north working....It's a normal thing for us (that he is usually away) so we just celebrate whenever he does get home. We're not "HUGE" V-day celebration people anyways, but I do like to make little things like this for him and I also have a card!

I tried a couple different projects before settling on this card for Leanne's challenge ;) I dug out my awesome Reverse Confetti goodies and had some fun (I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my latest order from RC - I am really, really wanting the arrow die - can't wait!) I finished the card off with some wonderful sequins from Pretty Pink Posh - luv!!!

{TPE #235} Love is in The Air....

Happy Monday! Most people dislike Mondays, but I "love" them - you know why? Yep, you got it! 'Cuz I get to share The Pink Elephant with all of you! 

By now, you've surely guessed that our theme this week is "LOVE"....

This sweet pair is a Bugaboo digi called Ava and Deacon Heart....so adorable and perfect for this weeks' theme! I added a button with some twine and some sparkle with sequins from Pretty Pink Posh! Really starting to like using them ;)
