Prickly Coffee Fun...

Happy Monday crafty friends! Today I am sharing this super fun card made with goodies from Newton's Nook Designs over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog HERE.

I love the succulents and mugs in the Cuppa Cactus set and the sentiments are the best! They make me giggle lol. You can shop for it HERE. There is also a die set for the stamps, but I didn't use it this time - I stamped and colored my image directly on to the white panel. Here's a close up:

I added some espresso and black matte gum drops and called it a wrap! Thanks so much for stopping in today to see what I was up to. Enjoy the rest of your day! Cheers!

I Can't Thank You Enough

Happy Monday everyone! I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with my installment of Caffeinated Creativity...I am sharing a bit of gratitude with this super cute, CAS card:

I let the designer paper do most of my work for me - SO CUTE!! I wish I could tell you where it's from but I'm sorry, I can't! It was loosely shoved in my stash so I matched it with some brown heart paper and it worked perfectly. The sentiment and die set are from new set from Stampin' Up! called the "So Sentimental Bundle" and I can see that I will be using this set A LOT! Here's a close up:

This stamp set has so many beautiful, versatile sentiments - friendship, healing hugs, thank you etc. One that will be used for many different occasions and cards!

Thank you again for stopping in today to see what I have created. It is a long weekend here in Canada, so a lot of folks went "social distance camping." I am getting my garden and flowers planted! Yay! Feels good to dig in the dirt ... have a wonderful day - CHEERS!

Coffee...the Magical Substance

Happy Monday everyone! I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with my featured slot of "Caffeinated Creativity with Lori," and I am sharing this little bit of humor for you all :)

This digi stamp makes me giggle every time I use it and I figured with quarantine goin' on, this may be how some are feeling in some (or many) households across the globe LOL...

Here's a close up:

We are finally experiencing some warmer temps here in central Alberta, so I got my deck table and chairs out and ready for morning coffee on the deck! It's supposed to be 16C today so I will take FULL advantage of that...

Please be sure to hop on over to the CLC blog and check out my post and feel free to browse at other posts from my amazingly talented design teamies - so much java-filled inspiration! Cheers!

Coffee and Donuts...

Happy Monday crafty friends!! Today I am sharing a card on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. Tax season is upon us here in Canada and along side my bookkeeping, I also do income tax preparation every year, which can be a very stressful and sometimes challenging job...but I really enjoy it. Every file is like a puzzle :)

Coffee and donuts help with this some days, don'tchya think?! haha!! :)

I used the super sweet stamp set and dies called Latte Happy Vibes from Your Next Stamp - so fun to color up!

I colored these cuties up with my Copic markers and die cut them out using the coordinating dies. The tag die is from Reverse Confetti.

I sure hope you all enjoy your Monday - thanks for stopping in. Cheers!

Latte Happy Vibes...

Happy Monday everyone! I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog sharing this Caffeinated Creativity project with you all.

Before I get to all that, I would like to take this time to say THANK YOU to all of those men and women who have served and are still serving our country for our freedom. You will not be forgotten. Please remember to take a moment of silence at 11 am. xoxoxoxo

I ordered a bunch of goodies from Your Next Stamp and had some fun with this cute set called Latte Happy Vibes - and it has matching dies! The images in this set are so adorable - I can't wait to make other cute coffee projects with it. Here are some close up's:

I stamped the cute skateboarding duo on Xpress It Copic paper and colored them with my copic markers, cut them out with the matching die and used foam squares to pop them up on the frame. This coffee paper pad is so fun - love the colors!

Thank you so much for stopping in today! Enjoy your Monday - cheers!

coffee, coffee, coffee!!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers BLOG sharing some "Caffeinated Creativity" with you all.

Mother Nature decided to unleash some nasty white stuff on us yesterday morning so now our ground is covered with a couple inches of snow. It's too early yet. I do love the winter and snow, but we need to get our crops off first...THEN she can unleash all she wants LOL! We are scheduled for more snow today, but we are hoping the weather people are wrong and we start getting some decent temperatures.

Ok, onto my card. I wanted to use my new-to-me stamp set/dies from Reverse Confetti - called Drink More Coffee. I went to Pinterest for some ideas on how to use the set and I came across this GORGEOUS card from Jen del Muro and I had to CASE it...

I tweaked mine a bit - adding another layer of espresso card stock under the main panel, coloring in my hearts on the foam in the coffee cups, moved my coffee die panels over to the right of the card and added some pearls for more detail. The coffee cup designer paper is from the coffee pad at Your Next Stamp. Thank you, Jen, for such an awesome, EASY card to create with this fun set!

Thank you so much for stopping in today! I hope you have enjoyed this installment of Caffeinated Creativity - grab yourself a warm drink and enjoy the rest of your Monday! Cheers!

Christmas Cheer!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers BLOG sharing some "Caffeinated Creativity" with you all.

Before I get to my card today, I would like to wish all of our Canadian friends a very Happy Thanksgiving. Around central Alberta, the farmers were scrambling once again this weekend to get crops off before the weather turned bad again. I am hoping a lot of them were successful in doing so. We were shut down around 6 pm Sunday evening due to rain so we are about 1/2 done our harvest. Once again, we are hoping for a nice long stretch of warm weather yet to come so we can finish! Mother Nature hasn't been very nice to us this year :(

For those enjoying time with family and friends today...along with delicious food, Happy Thanksgiving and be sure to count all of your blessings! HUGS!

Ok, onto my card. It was so fun to muck around again with my new set from Stampin' Up! It's called Christmas in a Cup and the die set called Christmas Cheer. I came across a card from Brian King HERE and wanted to CASE it but use these colors...

This color combo has always been a non-traditional Christmas favorite of mine. I love the simplicity of this stamp/die set - and there are SO MANY ways to use the dies! So fun...

It actually feels great to get a jump start on Christmas cards! This set will definitely help with the mass production of cards :)  I hope you have enjoyed this installment of Caffeinated Creativity - enjoy the rest of your Monday! Cheers!

Coffee & Friends Make the Perfect Blend...

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are all doing well :) We ending up with a winter storm coming through on Friday/Saturday and leaving us with a very white, cold ground again...Spring is just not wanting to come hahah! On a happier note, income tax time is almost over for me - 2 more days!! Yipeee!! Then, life can go back to a semi-normal routine with 2+ days off a week again...*crafty time!* whoot! whoot!

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog with this super sweet card made from a coffee card kit from Simon Says Stamp! I have had this kit for some time and finally got around to creating the cards before tax season hit ... I knew life would be super crazy busy, so I wanted a few quick and fun cards made up ahead of time - this is one of them:

Isn't it sweet?!? The stamp set came with various faces you could put on the cups and that font is just so awesome - all the papers that go with the kit are so cute and chalk full of coffee goodness!

Thanks for stopping in to see what I have been up to - I'm off to brew a coffee and get myself ready for work! Have a wonderful Monday....cheers!
