CMCC #9 {Thanks so Much!}

Welcome back to my blog :) Yesterday I spent the whole day in my bed fighting off some sort of ICKY stomach bug. I don't often get sick like that and boy, I hate it each and every single time! Today I'm feeling better and had enough energy to sit in the craft room for a bit and make a "for-fun" card using the "playful" colors over at Colour Me! Challenge Blog....check it out:

 

I wanted to sort of "mimic" their picture and create the border down the side with arrows, so I rummaged through my stash of stamps and came across this one from Reverse Confetti:

The large flourish and sentiment are both from my new goodies at Papertrey Ink - soooo fun!!! I added a few enamel dots and wa-laaaa! DONE! I didn't have Smoky Slate so I had to use my Basic Gray ink instead...

{My Favorite Style} at Sweet Stampin'

This week at Sweet Stampin' the girls want to see your "Favorite Style!" I don't really know what my favorite style is, but I like clean and layers a lot, so that's kinda what I chose LOL...

I have been wanting to join in with Tara and Hayley over at Colour Me! for a few weeks now and this week's subtle combo is gorgeous - couldn't pass it up!!

I made a card a couple days ago with the deconstructed Sketch, and I loved it, so I thought, "why not? Let's do it again!" 

My card is chalk-full of Reverse Confetti and MFT goodness....The tag, sentiment stamp, and sentiment flag is from RC and the daisy dies are from MFT. I used a couple different embossing folders for some texture on the colored panels.

I had so much fun whipping this card up - the colors work well together, the layout makes it very easy to use different dies or stamp sets to create your project and it only took about 20 mins to complete! Yay!

The "theme" this week over at The Pink Elephant is "THANK YOU" so I got to work immediately using my Paper Smooches dies and "Warm Hearts" stamp set to create my project this week:

My color combo came from a brand new challenge blog called Colour Me...! started by 2 of my past Dynamic Duos Design Team members - Hayley Kew and Tara Bourgoin! Way to go girls...I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see what each week brings! This week, the challenge was to use Island Indigo and whatever neutral you wish....
