KCC #479 {Orange/Black}

Happy 'Krafty Chicks' Thursday everyone! Today, it's miss Tangii's turn to play your challenge hostess and given that today is Halloween, she's looking for some orange and black:

KCC #479 {ORANGE AND BLACK}

Today is also our Crazy Egg Challenge as there are 5 Thursdays this month...Our challenges are always Anything Goes with the twist, so you can choose to use the twist or not - totally up to you!

I made this card while I was up visiting Leanne earlier this summer - it was a lot of fun creating with her and something we need to try and do more often. Life gets busy so we need to make more time to do stuff like this :)

Here's a close up of my card:

Thanks for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over to the blog to see what the rest of the Chicks have created using Tangii's "ORANGE/BLACK" twist. Wishing everyone a SAFE and fun Halloween - BOO!

Anything Goes at 4 Crafty Chicks!

Happy "4 Crafty Chicks" Thursday everyone! October has 5 Thursdays in it so that means we are hosting a CRAZY EGG challenge this week and I get to play hostess!! The theme for our crazy egg challenges are always ANYTHING GOES....so, let your creativity fly and come enter whatever you'd like: 3D projects, cards, scrapbooking, etc. You name it, we'd love to see it!

4 CC #270 ANYTHING GOES

For my card this week, I decided to make another Halloween card. I don't make many of these as I don't have a lot of supplies/stamps for the holiday - but thanks to last week's challenge, I now have TONS of awesome ideas!!

This was another "easy-peesy" card that took about 10 mins to make! LOVE THOSE :) The raven image was already printed on some paper in a Halloween pack so I cut the strip out, layered it on black then added a cobweb doily, some twine and a few gumdrops! The embossed polka dot paper was also included in the Halloween paper pack :)

Be sure to hop on over to the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge blog HERE and see what the rest of the Chicks have created for our ANYTHING GOES challenge! Link up your project there so we can come visit you and leave you some love!

Have a very SAFE and FUN Halloween night this Saturday and enjoy all the goodies and treats! I am excited to see how many little ghouls and goblins we get this year ;) CHEERS!

Happy Halloween at 4 Crafty Chicks!

Happy "4 Crafty Chicks" Thursday!! This week, it is my turn to bring you all the challenge - and as you can probably guess, it's "HALLOWEEN!"

4 CC #269 HALLOWEEN

My card came together in about 10 minutes, if that..LOL! I cut out a stamped ghost image from an older Stampin' Up! set called Hey, Ghoul Friend, then popped it up on some designer paper that had everything pre-printed on it! Added some gumdrops from Your Next Stamp and wa-laaa - done!!

I really hope to see a lot of entries in the gallery over at 4 Crafty Chicks challenge blog this week - the creativity around Halloween time is awesome and I need some more ideas as I don't have a lot of goodies that are focused on this holiday! Come on over to see what the rest of the Chicks have for ya in the hen house and play along! Cheers!

{Heavy Metal} at Twisted Tuesday Challenges!

Happy "Twisted Tuesday!"

The challenge over at the Twisted Tuesday Challenge blog for the next 2 weeks is:

{Heavy Metal}

The "heavy" is heavy on the layers (so go crazy! the more layers the better!!) and the TWIST? is "metal" which can be charms, brads, staples, etc.

We have a new sponsor this month:

You can click HERE to go to the store...

Here's my card for this week's challenge:

This card was made using a line of Halloween goodies I picked up from Michaeal's a few weeks back...it's called Wicked by My Mind's Eye and it was a lot of fun to put together! (There is garland, designer paper, enamel dots, and 3D stickers...)

The METAL portion of my card is in each top corner - I stapled on the garland ;)

 Thanks for stopping in today and I do hope you get some time to come and get crafty with us girls over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges!! Happy crafting!!

....and came up with THIS:

Stamps: Twick or Tweet; Paper: Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade, Basic Black, River Rock DP, Tangerine Tango; Ink: Versafine Onyx; Accessories: clear embossing powder, heat gun, dimensionals, markers, Martha Stewart border punch, black satin ribbon, spider web embossing folder

My card also qualifies for the following challenges:

SPCC #70 - Trick or Treat 8-in-1!

Happy Monday everyone! Did you all have a good weekend? I sure did...I was in Banff, AB with my sister, Jackie. We enjoyed hiking, fine food, Starbucks, fresh mountain air, a day at the Banff Springs Hotel Spa and some "flow yoga." We did NOT want to come home yesterday....but, as we know - life goes on and here we are back for another awesome color combo from Scrapmaster's Paradise!

Samantha I *think* had Halloween in mind for this one - at least that is what I saw the first time I viewed them. AND..just so happened that I received a box of Stampin' Up! goodies last week so I just {had} to use my new letterpress plate! They are FUN!

My card also falls into the Halloween category at the following challenges:

Stamps: none; Ink: Craft White; Paper: Old Olive, Basic Black, Basic Gray; Accessories: Big Shot, Trick or Treat Letterpress Plate, Olive brads, dimensionals

These letterpress plates (pg. 42 of Holiday Mini) are soooo super easy to use! Ink up your letterpress with any color of craft ink (it works best to soak into the paper while being debossed) and then place your paper on top, add your top cutting plate, and whip it through the big shot. Easy peesy! I am going to really enjoy using them... I sure hope they come out with more.

Be sure to check out the other Color Divas blogs (on my righthand sidebar) for more inspiration this week and be sure to link up YOUR creation at the SPCC website!

Thanks for popping in and stay tuned for my Picture Perfect Creations challenge post for this week! Happy stamping....
