You're the Cream in my Coffee

Hello crafty friends! I hope this finds you well. I am now down to 3 days in the accounting office and 4 days working from home, so I am able to be in my crafty space a bit more - WAHOO! It's been fun to go through all my goodies and start using some stuff that has never even been opened (ACK!) I know, right? For shame...lol I am sure most of us have stuff that's unopened, don't we?!? *giggle*

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today featuring this sweet, caffeinated clean-and-simple card:

I am sharing a card made with some goodies from the Paper Sweeties 1st Quarter Sweet Kit. I have been wanting to crack this open for a while now and it was so fun!

It's a very clean-and-simple layout, but I feel it has such an overload in CUTENESS!!! Love those itty bitty cups and that sentiment is perfect :) Thanks for stopping in today to see what I've been up to. I hope you can find some crafty time during these harder days and it helps to bring happiness and peace....hugs!!!

Happy Birthday, Paper Sweeties!

All month long, Paper Sweeties has been celebrating their 7th Birthday! I am super  excited to be today's Guest Designer, helping them whoop it up and party :) What's a birthday celebration without pressies?!? For today, there is a special gift just for YOU:

Today, you will receive 25% off your online purchases by using code: lori26. Now, that is something to celebrate!

For my card, I used a few Paper Sweeties goodies: I first stamped the balloon image in the Happy Cake Day stamp set and then used the Happy Cake Day Sweet Cuts to cut it out. Then, I paper-pieced all the balloons and popped the image up on the Circle Scalloped Frames Sweet Cuts. I then used the Sweet Cuts Sweet Borders to cut out my sentiment piece in black cardstock and embossed "Happy Birthday" from the Hello Friend stamp set.

I finished off by tying some twine around the bundle of balloons and adding some Cookie Dough sequins :) FUN!!!

Sending Debbie and the gang over at Paper Sweeties the BIGGEST BIRTHDAY HUGS! Thank you for having me over to play at your party...cheers!!

Paper Sweeties March 2018 Blast From the Past Day 2

Paper Sweeties has quite a few coffee, tea, cocoa themed stamp sets and dies - and this card is a favorite of mine that I made last year for the Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop! I used the You Warm My Heart Stamp Set and Sweet Cuts to make this cute shaker card!

I used the teapot stamp and sweet cuts from the You Warm My Heart set plus I heat embossed the sentiment from the set as well. The shaker was made with the Sweet Cuts - With Love heart die and filled with the yummy Cupcake Sprinkles!

For my card today, I am showing a card made with the super cute "Madison and Aloha" stamp sets and the "Oval Scallop Frames and Madison" Sweet Cuts:

I dressed Madison by paper-piecing and used the Oval Scallop Frame die to show her off - the hashtags are perfect and you will LOVE all the other sentiments included in this set! So fun!

Paper Sweeties February 2018 Blast from the Past

Welcome back to another Blast from the Past from Paper Sweeties! For my card today, I wanted to incorporate Valentine's Day so I made this card for my hubby who is away trucking right now so will receive it at a later date....

I started out with the "With Love" heart Sweet Cuts and some sweet, pretty designer papers. I hand stitched around the borders of the papers and then used our Sweet Borders to put my sentiment from Hello Friend on with white embossing powder. Very CAS but I love how it turned out!

Paper Sweeties: February Blast from the Past!

Welcome back to another Blast from the Past from Paper Sweeties! For my card today, I wanted to take you back to the card I made for the 2017 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using some of my favorite Paper Sweeties goodies! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a big time coffee lover so this card is yet another of my favorites from PS!

I started out with my "With Love" heart Sweet Cuts then cut out my cute coffee cup with my "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" Sweet Cuts. The steam was cut from Crumb Cake using "Homemade With Love" Sweet Cuts. The sentiment was stamped in brown using a sentiment from "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" stamp set! I just LOVE how this card came together! :) The sweet sequins are our "Bubblegum" series - adorable!

Jam-makin' Days of Winter....

Welcome back to my blog for the wrap-up of our Paper Sweeties Winter "Blast from the Past!" We did not have a new release this month so we were showcasing some of our favorite stamps/sweet cuts relating to winter.

Now...I bet you are asking me "why a jar then?" Well...I don't know about a lot of you, but I freeze a lot of my fruit in the summer when I harvest it, then I make jam on the cold, blustery days of winter! The house smells so heavenly and it gets our shelves stocked up and good for the following year when things are super busy!! :)

I made this card last year and I really wanted to show it off again - it's one of my favorites and I hope that's ok :)

My card was made using an older stamp/die set called Mason Jar along with Handmade for You Accessories stamp set
and Sweet Cuts - Circle Scallop Frames.

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my Paper Sweeties team mates have created for you using some of our "winter" themed stamps and sweet cuts:

Thank you so much for stopping in today. Happy crafting! Cheers!

Sending Warm Hugs & Kisses with Paper Sweeties!

Hello there everyone! This month over at Paper Sweeties, instead of a new release, we are showcasing some of our favorite "winter" goodies for our January 2018 Blast from the Past!!

For my card today, I have used a few different stamp sets and sweet cuts to create my super cute snow friends card (all products listed with links at the bottom of this post).

I stamped the snow people from Snow Friends on white card stock, cut them out with the matching sweet cuts - then stamped their accessories onto various designer paper and cut them out with the dies, glued them all together and I think they make a super cute pair!

The sentiment is from Let it Snow, and I also used the With Love sweet cuts heart to make their backdrop...

Here's a close up....

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

QKR Stampede - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my Paper Sweeties team mates have created for you using some of our "winter" themed stamps and sweet cuts:

January 2018 Paper Sweeties Blast From the Past - Winter Edition!

Hello there everyone! This month over at Paper Sweeties, we are showcasing some "winter" goodies for our January 2018 Blast from the Past!!

Today, I am showing off miss Madison in her gorgeous plaid winter outfit from the Let it Snow stamp set :) She's ready for the cold weather wouldn't you say?! It's been soooo cold here in central Alberta, CANADA the past 3 weeks or so (-40C windchills etc) and I have been bundled up just like Madison lol...brrrr!

Here's a close up....

I paper pieced Madison's outfit by stamping the hat and coat from Let It Snow onto some gorgeous plaid paper. I felt the same plaid paper needed to be used as my background - I LOVE PLAID! lol....

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my Paper Sweeties team mates have created for you using some of our "winter" themed stamps and sweet cuts:
