Your Next Stamp June Release Blog Hop

 

Hello everyone and welcome to the Your Next Stamp June Release and Blog Hop!

I am recuperating from an extremely busy weekend of grad ceremonies and celebrating for our son, Calvin, who graduated from high school. It's so hard to believe how fast they grow up. I know I say this a lot, but all you new Mommy's out there - please cherish and enjoy the times that they are small (good and bad), because before you know it, they are graduating and getting ready to fly the coop!  ♥

So, today was THE PERFECT DAY to be doing some bloggy celebrating! We are celebrating the newest release and blog hop for these incredibly FUN stamp sets and dies! Hopefully, you had a chance to see my sneak peek yesterday using the Kids Party Invite stamp set and DIES to make my yummy cone card (if not, scroll down).

For today's release, I decided to make 2 different cards using the "Happy Meal" set:....


Here's a close up of the main image panel:


This sentiment cracked me up! There are so many awesome images/sentiments included in this set. I popped up the fries and sentiment flag using foam tape to give it a bit more dimension.



For my second card, I just *had* to use this cute soda bottle....and the sentiment is perfect:



Don't they just go together so well!?! It cracked me up....can't wait to send this off to a friend! I added some of the new bright colored gumdrops - I just can't get enough of these!

    Both of your cards are awesome. Great use of patterned paper too. I am definitely going to take a good look at this stamp set.

    Graduation is wonderful and sad for us Moms to be sure! Time does go by way too fast and thanks for the reminder to cherish it all as much as we can.
    I absolutely adore the french fries and that hilarious sentiment - wayyyy to cute! Thinking I might have to have this set :o)
