I decided to use Raspberry Ripple as my 2nd color to match with Perfect Plum and I had a lot of fun stamping and punching out these pretty flowers :) I hope you enjoy it too!

Welcome back to another CRAZY EGG CHALLENGE from 4 Crafty Chicks! We host the C.E.C. when there are 5 Thursdays in a month....I am the hostess-with-the-mostess for this one and I'm issuing the following challenge to all my crafty peeps:

I must confess that I whipped this CAS card up in about 5 mins yesterday morning! Life has been SOOOOO crazy around here that I have not had much time in my craft room and I'm not ahead in my DT duties. Time to pencil some time in for ME and get some done!

I went very CAS with this one - using a new-to-me stamp set called Dream in Color by Reverse Confetti and the paper pack is Take Note from Doodlebug Design :) so fun....

Welcome back to my blog! This week over at 4 Crafty Chicks, I am the hostess-with-the-mostess and I'm sending out this bright, bold photo inspiration challenge for y'all! Take from it what you will and create something extraordinary! It can be the colors, the ripples, the texture.....etc. And it doesn't have to just be paper crafts - it's totally open to interpretation!

For my card, I totally ran with the ripple effect of the afghan and came up with this easy-peesy, quick, CAS card for you :)

A Saturday 3-in-1 with DD, OCS and Seize the Birthday!

Happy Saturday PEEPS! Are you ready for a new color challenge? This week at Dynamic Duos, we're showing off this GORGEOUS color combination with the Dessert Option of EMBOSSING:

I decided to dig out my favorite embossing folders and a new stamp set I ordered from Reverse Confetti a couple weeks ago, called "Celebrate Cake" and whip up a birthday card for another very special lady in my life who I don't see very often - she is like a Mom to me and I miss her dearly! Bon Bon, we need to get together soon and craft with Tamie and possibly Leanne too! :) What a hoot that would be!! I know you will probably see this before your card, but I sure hope you have a wonderful day - you deserve it! xoxoxoxo

This color combination is one of my ultimate favorites! I love light blue/black together - it has such WOW factor, in my opinion! Then, you add some wonderful textures like the embossing folders offer and POW! An explosive POP of awesomeness :D Yep, that's a "Lori word" ;)

I needed to whip up a card quick, so I decided to dig out my Mosaic Madness goodies and get to work....it's our very own Lesley's birthday this week, so this one is for her!! 

I realize she will see this before she receives it, but that's ok - something to look forward to!! Happy Birthday, Lesley!!!

When using the embossing folder, stamp set and punch together, you sure have endless possibilities! I love this combination from Stampin' Up! and I know it will be used A LOT!!! :)

Once again, I went very CAS for my card this week. I have a few friends and neighbors who could use a little reminder that prayers are being said for them during some very difficult times. This was the direction of my card:

The silhouette die is from Memory Box and I used 2 different embossing folders on the white panels. The "prayers" sentiment is from TAWS set called "Chatterbox"

Dynamic Duos #64 {Thanks for Everything}

Happy Saturday PEEPS! My good friend, Leanne, and I are thoroughly enjoying ourselves in Camrose, AB at the Big Valley Jamboree! Tonight's headliner is none other than Mr. Luke Bryan and tomorrow night, is none other than ....THE....Tim McGraw...(I know, I know...y'all are so very jealous at this moment....I totally understand!!! lol) However, I am still amazed and in utter SHOCK that I am going to be sitting in front of my all-time FAV male country singer tomorrow night!!!!! I will try my best to take as many pics as I can for you all to enjoy ;)

Welcome back to another 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday!!

Leanne and I arrived in Camrose yesterday to set up the trailer, unpack and get settled in time for the Kick-Off Party tonight here at the Big Valley Jamboree! Tonight gets all the awesome festivities rollin' - and what a gooder it's gonna be this year! Tomorrow is Alan Jackson, Saturday is the UBER-CUTE Luke Bryan, and last but certainly NOT least - Sunday is my ULTIMATE FAV country artist...Mr. Tim McGraw!!! (Drooling already!) lol....Please pray for awesome weather for us! ;)

I went very CAS this week :) A quick sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps on a Fishtail Flag and 2 butterflies stamped in Calypso Coral and Not Quite Navy! I added bling to both butterflies and my sentiment banner as well :) The entire white background panel was embossed with my new embossing folder from SU!

I am counting down the days until my bestie, Leanne, and I head out to Camrose, Alberta to the Big Valley Jamboree! OMGOSH, I am still so stoked that I will be sitting in front of Tim McGraw, cutie-patootie Luke Bryan, Terri Clark, Alan Jackson, Big & Rich - just to name a few!!  It's my yearly getaway with no kids, no hubby, no responsibilties....just her and I and some awesome country tunes! Yeehaw!

{Playing Bingo} at Twisted Tuesday!

Are you all ready for another amazing challenge for the next couple weeks?

Awesome...the girls and I are playing BINGO this week! The challenge: to use a letter on your creation other than in your sentiment stamp...The TWIST, you ask?! Use a number as well on your creation ;)

It took me a bit of time, but after scouring all my 6 x 6 paper packs, I finally found some bright, cheery numbered/lettered paper! Then got to work from there....

For my letters/numbers, I dug out my Stampin' Up! Go, Go Boots! Dies and cut out the HB 2U (Happy Birthday 2 U) and colored up my cutie kittie from Paper Smooches :)
