Welcome back to 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday! Today we had such gorgeous temp's...seems like we only get a day here and there amongst rain, wind and cold. Hopefully we start getting a string of warm weather and sunshine! ;)

I went in search of a color combo to color up my new-to-me image called "Ready to Pop" from Saturated Canary (isn't she just the most adorable pregnant girl you've ever seen??) and came across this one from the Paper Players:

4 CC #193 and STB {Flowers}

Welcome back to 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday!!

First of all, a huge "whoop, whoop!" to our new Guest Designers who will be joining us in June and July! I look forward to playing with you girls in the henhouse!

This week, it's miss Tina's turn to be the challenge hostess and she's wanting you to use FLOWERS on your cards, scrapbook layouts or 3D altered items!

For my card this week, I was mucking around with some goodies from my friend, Diane, from Diane's Stampin Creations and found this awesome sketch from The Paper Players, then got to work:

Stamps: Secret Garden, Simple Stems and Banner Greetings (love this one!!)
Ink: Real Red, Bermuda Bay
Card stock: Real Red, Whisper White, Fresh Prints DSP
Accessories: Secret Garden dies, dimensionals, pearls, rhinestones

I'd also like to enter this card into this week's challenge over at Seize the Birthday! The theme is Anything Goes and the topping option is FLOWERS - perfect!! hahaha

PP #191 {You Make me Smile!}

Happy Tuesday! I am enjoying a full "home-day" today (that's right...absolutely no errands, appointments, runs, or places I need to be) except the bus stop at 4 p.m. to collect my daughter! These days do NOT happen very often for me lately so I am taking full advantage - in my craft room!

I do not usually make "for-fun" cards either. Being on several Design Teams, I seem to just get those cards done and blogged and I never find time to just PLAY! So, that's what I decided to do today....I found this interesting color combo at The Paper Players and I have to admit....when I first saw the swatch, I was a bit unsure. Then I dug out papers in each color and was pleasantly surprised how pretty it is!! All I could vision was flowers/stems!

Here is my CAS card using last week's Paper Players color combo:

I chose to use this awesome sentiment from Papertrey Ink...isn't that font just PERFECT for this card?! Ya, I thought so too! *wink*
