SPCC #107 - Shower Posies

Welcome back! As you can see, Samantha has such a pretty color combo for us this week! I thoroughly enjoyed coloring up this pretty watering can full of posies :) My good friend, Tamie, and I were at her local scrapbook store a month or so ago and they were having a 50%-off-everything-in-the-store sale! YEP, cha-ching is right! Tamie and I scored some really nice stamps and dies that day...this was one of them....

I used Copics to color the image, Stampin' Up! paper and some nestabilities for the circle panels. The sentiment was stamped and then punched with the Word Window punch and layered on the Modern Label punch. Some grey pearls were added for a little extra punch. The layout I used was from Inspirational Card Sketches a couple weeks ago...it worked out perfectly!

Thanks for stopping in again this morning! Be sure to take some time to create with us this week - we'd love to see what you come up with using our colors! Link your creation HERE.

4 Crafty Chicks....4 Colors!

Welcome back for another installment of crafting FUN from the 4 Crafty Chicks! This week's challenge "Hostess-with-the-mostess" is Melissa, and she chose a bright, cheery color combo for all of us to play with!

I went on a search for "just the right sketch" to go along with my stamp set that I chose and I finally found it over at Inspirational Card Sketches:

...and here's what I came up with using both challenges:

Stamps: Party This Way, Crazy for Cupcakes, Itty Bitty Bits; Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight; Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Basic Black; Accessories: scissors, dimensionals, perfect dots embossing folder
The stamp set, Party This Way, was a gift I received from Stampin' Up! for achieving $20K in sales last year! Woot! Woot! I was so happy to receive it, I *had* to make a card with it right away! Thanks for stopping in for our 2nd challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks and I am super dooper excited to see what y'all come up with using these awesome colors! Please put a link to your creation back at 4 Crafty Chicks blog for your chance at the "Golden Egg" badge!
For more inspiration using these colors, please check out the other "Chicks" blogs (right-hand sidebar) and leave each of them some luvin's :) Happy crafting!

"Magical" Color Throwdown & ICS

Hello again! Well, I made it back...I survived my 3rd night of boot camp and I must admit, I'm a wee tad sore. I think tomorrow will be a "movin-kinda-slowly" sort of day. Amazing how fast your body can resort back to "no, don't make me do those things!!!" mode after "chillaxin" for a few months! :)

Tonight Melissa wanted Tamie, Leanne and myself to join her while she did the Color Throwdown Challenge for this week. So, we did it through cyber crafting LOL...Check out the girls' blogs to see if they did the challenge....I also used the Inspirational Card Sketches challenge this week for my card....

...here's my card combining both challenges:

Stamps: A Little Bit of Magic; Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Welcome Neighbor DP; Ink: Black Staz On; Accessories: markers, white ribbon, scallop trim punch, dots embossing folder, dimensionals
Thanks girls for the fun! I am going to clean up my mess a bit and try to coordinate some stuff tonight that I can start on in the morning :) I think I need to just "be" and not use my brain too much tonight - I'm tired! Almost time for beddie bye! Have a great night! Ciao!
