Welcome back! This week's color combo from SPCC helped me get yet another Christmas card completed and out of the way :) Gotta like it when that happens. Like I've mentioned in past posts, I am attempting to make all my Design Team commitment cards into Christmas cards (no matter what the challenge/color is) and so far, so good!!! Here's Samantha's color palette for the week:
For my card, I inked up Ornamental Trees from SP & Co. in Chocolate Chip ink and stamped them on Pool Party then cut them out and "popped up" the middle tree with dimensionals. I wanted to make the background look as if it was snowing behind the trees, so I used Swiss Dots embossing folder for that effect...The sentiment is from Cutest Gingerbread Man (also an SP & Co. stamp set).
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Raise The Bar - It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas
2 Sisters - Punches/Dies
CropStop: Punching your way around the holidays
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle: Holiday card
Secret Crafter: Inspiration Photo (I took the tree theme!)
Bling it On: It's Christmas!
GingerloftChallenge: Christmas
Clearly iStamp: Christmas
Scrap-Creations: Christmas
