Dear Father...

Welcome back! It's been raining non-stop all day today and I must admit, I'm *happy* about that! The rain helped me to relax today and not worry about yard work and gardening etc. I enjoyed a 2.5 hr bubble bath today with my book that I cannot put down! Yep, you heard right - 2.5 hours :o) I had to drain and refill twice before I got out - ha ha!!

I finished planting the garden last night, so that's a bonus! The seeds will welcome this rain with open arms. I think we are scheduled for rain all this week and hopefully the weekend turns nice as I am planning a fun "girls only" weekend in the city to celebrate my 40th birthday! Yay!!!

I have been wanting to watch "New Moon" for quite some time now and I just haven't done it. I was talking to Tamie tonight and she challenged me to sit and watch it tonight. So, I will be doing that later on. I wanted to sit and get a card made before I did though. Father's Day is in a couple weeks, so I wanted to get a jump on those. I used the Mojo Monday sketch, and this card also qualifies for The Shabby Tea Room and Always Playing With Paper's challenges of "Father's Day or Masculine."

Stamps: Well Scripted; Paper: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, To the Nines DP, Sahara Sand; Ink: Chocolate Chip; Accessories: choc ribbon, oval punch, scallop oval punch, brads, decor elements Elegant Trio stencils, sponge dauber, dimensionals, scallop trim punch, stapler
Thanks for poppin' in tonight. Don't forget about my Celebration Blog Candy - deadline is June 11th - be sure to click on the picture at the top right of my blog. Good luck!!

this is fabulous. I'm also really jealous - 2.5 hours in the bath with a good book! Now that's my kind of "me time". Happy 40th birthday, too!
