I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend - it was quite cold here in central Alberta so I didn't get out in the yard as much as I had wanted. We have been experiencing frost at night still so I haven't put any flowers out yet and my garden planting is delayed this year LOL. It's looking like we may be out of the coldness now after tonight (fingers crossed) so I will get the rest of it planted maybe this weekend coming up. Do you plant a garden? If so, is it a big one and lots of variety of veggies/plants? I would love to hear about yours!
This is our "CLEAN & SIMPLE" week, hosted by our wonderful Diane. I am starting to really enjoy making CAS cards. The odd time, I struggle with so much white space, but not with this one as the balance with the hummingbirds made it ok.
This card was easy to whip up from the beautiful March Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up! called "Fluttering Garden." It's such a gorgeous kit!

What a wonderful CAS card! I love the subtle texture in the background and those hummingbirds… stars of the show! It was an awesome kit.
ReplyDeleteNice blog header friend. I love the card soft pretty, great job, nice kit you used. Yes Northern Alberta has been cold too. We don't normally plant much till after the long weekend. A few things in the green house though. We don't have a garden we have garden beds/boxes. Small but works for the two of us. Enjoy your week! Hugs, L
