Welcome back to my blog everyone!
The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop started Friday and I am sharing my 4th card in celebration of Fall and coffee....
As I was hopping and commenting on the amazing entries this morning, I came across this amazing technique from Hetty Sanders - to use distress oxide inks in an embossing folder - and I *had* to try it!! To see Hetty's GORGEOUS cards and the tutorial, click HERE....thank you, Hetty!!! It was fun :)
I used my "leafy branches" embossing folder and my Distress Oxide inks to create this oh-so-cool background. I then die cut the coffee cup (uncertain of brand), and added a thanks from MFT on the plaid strip - I had to add 2 gumdrops to the top corners ;) I love how this turned out...so happy I came across Hetty's post!
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop
Die Cuttin Divas - Coffee Day/Shades of Brown
Always Fun Challenges - Fall Colors
Crafty Cardmakers - Autumn
Dream Valley Challenges - Autumn colors
Make my Monday - Autumn colors
