World Card Making Day with PPA & STS

Today is "World Card-Making Day" and I decided that since I haven't had a lot of free time to be crafty, I was sitting down with a coffee and making a card - specifically for this day!! My daughter, Kim, decided to join me so that was fun - we listened to tunes and got down to business - her project will be showcased at a later date ;)

I went in search of a sketch and color combo and found these beauties - the color combo is from Pals Paper Arts and the sketch is from Seize the Sketch. I haven't had a chance to play at STS yet, so I decided - today was the day :)

And here is my card using both challenges:

 Matierials used:

Stamps: Jibber Jabber (TAWS)
Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Baked Brown Sugar
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Chevron embossing folder, black enamel dot, hemp twine, MFT Fishtail Flags, Dimensionals

Thank you so much for sharing World Card Making Day with me and stopping in to say hello!! I will be back hopefully again tonight or tomorrow with more "FUN!" Ciao!

  7. I like how the embossed chevrons mimic the fishtail banner - or maybe it's the banner that mimics the chevrons? :) Either way, it's an excellent card.
