Makin' Flowers at 4 Crafty Chicks!

Happy Thursday! Did you happen to see what the challenge is this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks?!? It's a FUN one..."Make Your Own Flower!" fun is this week gonna be? I can't wait to see what fun, exciting flowers are created. I went in search of a new technique that I have not heard of to make my flower...I came across THIS VIDEO from Dawn Olchefske to make ribbon flowers out of satin ribbon. Make sure you check it out and give it a try - it's easy peesy!!! Here's the flower I made using the above mentioned technique:

Isn't that flower just GORJUSSSS!?! And seriously, like I said earlier, so easy to make! I will be making a lot more of these, I know that! For my card today I used a wonderful Verve Plain Jane sentiment along with embossing folders, bakers twine, nestabilities and bashful blue satin ribbon.

Please take some time to go and check out the other CHICKS' blogs for more floral inventions! I know they will knock your socks sure to play along with 4 Crafty Chicks this week - we would love to see what you create! Cheers!
