Good afternoon! Are you having a good weekend so far? I am busy doing tons of laundry today so I figured I would sit in between loads and make a couple cards :) The sun *was* out in full force this morning, however, it looks as if he has gone for a nap or something. It's quite dreary and dull out again...oh well, good day for coffee, candles and STAMPS!!!
I am really enjoying the sketch challenges from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge blog and I decided I wanted to get some Sympathy cards done up in advance to sell at the store or to have on hand...you can never have too many of those.
Now, I know this stamp set that I am about to show you is not a SU set, but it is one of my favorite sets for Sympathy cards and I am *really* happy with how this one turned out, so I'm displaying it here.
I am also entering this card into Stampin' Royalty's challenge this week of "stitching." I faux stitched on this card, so I am hoping it will still qualify! The challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is to have a bird somewhere on your project - and that I have.
Stamps: Forever In Our Hearts (Verve); Paper: Whisper White, More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, More Mustard DP, Cherry Cobbler DP; Ink: Early Espresso; Accessories: nestabilities, dimensionals, paper piercer, pearls, espresso satin ribbon, perfect dots embossing folder, marker for faux stitching
Thanks for popping in today on this dull, dreary Saturday afternoon...I hope you are finding time to sit, have a scrumptious coffee (or other yummy beverage) and CRAFT! Don't forget to hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and link up your creation for this week's challenge...you have 3 days left!
