Stamping really is therapeutic....

I know lots of people feel that way... and now I believe it too. We had a very sad evening last night - we lost a very special "kitty" that has been with us for a few years. "CHAMP" was a great big, fluffy, FUNNY, fat cat that had a very unique personality :o) I feel terrible cuz it was me who accidentally ran over him :o( The kids took it very hard, especially Calvin as Champ was his pet. I grew up on the farm as a kid and I "know" logically that a cat is a cat and there are many, many cats out there and they come and go so regularly on a farm - but when it's your kids' hearts that get broken and you see the sadness and loss - it's so hard! Needless to say, I haven't felt much like creating in the past 24 hours, but I have to make some Valentine's Day cards for the store and so I made myself sit down and do a challenge this afternoon while Kim was doing her Math...and I must say - it made me feel better. It takes your mind off things for a while and lets you escape to the crafting realm :)

I checked out Inspirational Card Sketches today from Tuesday's challenge and figured I would be able to make some Valentine's Day cards from their great sketch:

Paper: Very Vanilla, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Sending Love DP

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: large oval punch, pink satin ribbon, heart punch, gems, dimensionals
