As a kid growing up, my Dad used to always play us Bing Cosby and the original Christmas carols...my favorite is Let It Snow....whenever I hear it now, it takes me back to when I was young - decorating and getting things ready for Christmas! 

My card was a CASE from Mary Fish - I fell in love with this card the instant I saw it so I reproduced it as our cards to give to family and friends this year. Thank you very much for the awesome inspiration, Mary!

Digi Choosday Week #50 {Add a Tag!}

It's time for Digi Choosday at Polkadoodles

Every Tuesday is Digi Choosday and this means you can visit the blog to get a special discount code that is only available for 24 hours. Each week, it is an ANYTHING GOES challenge with an optional "twist" and this week, it is "Add A Tag." 

 For my card this week, I printed out the pre-colored North Pole image from the Winnie Winterland collection. I wrapped the main image panel in some yummy red/white twine and added a button :) The tag and sentiment are from the Baked With Love collection - fit the bill perfectly! It is popped up with foam dots and I added a few sparkly gems to finish the card off...wa-laaa! Done!  Here's a close up:

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop Card #3

I have created another card for the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop using this super cute image "Lorie's Peppermint Mocha" from Imagine That! Digi Stamp....when I came across these amazing images and saw that she had the same name as me (mine is without the 'e') and she's holding a mocha - heck....I *knew* this was the next card in the hop for me! ;)

The challenge this month over at Imagine That! Creative Playground uses this beautiful inspiration photo as the jump off point:

I could totally see myself sitting in front of my fireplace (if I had one LOL) and sipping on my delish peppermint mocha while admiring my tree....and I would probably be crocheting LOL....here's a close up of my sweet Lorie and her delish coffee:

Kris Kringle's Message with The Project Bin!

Happy Saturday everyone! How are the Christmas preparations coming along? I have some baking to do yet and decorate the house....so that will be next week's projects! Yay! I love decorating....

I am sharing another pretty Christmas card made with The Project Bin set called Maybe Christmas:

 

I stamped the cute sentiment in Bermuda Bay onto my white cardstock and then paper pierced around the border to give it a bit of definition. It was then layered on Bermuda, popped up and centered over the strips of amazing designer paper from Paper Sweeties. So fun!

Welcome back to my blog....I am having a great time cyber crafting via Skype with my bestie, Leanne, and figured I should whip up another card for the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop! Her and I bought an awesome "coffee" 12 x 12 paper pack from Heartfelt Creations quite a while ago and I haven't used it much - tonight was the night!

 

  I went through the paper pack and found some co-ordinating papers for the background layers and then die cut out a circle sentiment from one of the card elements....added some twine, snowflakes, and gum drops and WA-LAAA! This paper is soooo pretty!

"Winter" Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Card #1

Hello everyone!  It's that wonderful time of year again.....

Yep, I am worse than a kid at Christmas time when it comes to the Coffee Lovers Bloghops - they are so exciting to me! I am an *avid* coffee drinker (well, ok...ADDICT lol) and what more excitement could one ask for than COFFEE and CRAFTING?!? Like seriously....

CDD December Challenge and FMS #265

Happy Saturday everyone! Kim and I got all the presents wrapped yesterday and I think today will be the start of addressing my cards! I am actually ahead of the game and loving it! I still have some custom crochet orders and gifts I've been trying to get done and then some baking - but other than that, I believe I am almost ready....here's another card to add to the stash!

 I went in search of a sketch for my card and came across this one from Freshly Made Sketches - which worked out perfectly for the idea I had for my card:

I colored up my Beary Christmas with Copic Markers and used the awesome Shake It Up die set to create my snow globe:
