Merry Monday #225 {Candy Canes}


Happy "Merry Monday!" 

The challenge this week over at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge is being brought to you by our wonderful Linda and she's looking for CANDY CANES on our cards - here is her inspiration photo to give you a jump-off point:


As soon as I saw this cutie from C.C. Designs, I knew I *had* to use him for this challenge - he's PERFECT! Here's a close up:



Stamps: Elves set from C.C. Designs
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Unknown DSP
Ink: Tuxedo Black Momento
Accessories: Arrow embossing folder, black ribbon, gems, foam squares, oval die from Polkadoodles

    I'm hoping to squeeze time into this busy week to get my candy cane card done. First I had to panic that I sold my candy cane stamp (indeed I did, used it to death) but that wasn't the one candy cane in my stash. I just had to get over the panic....

    Your elf card is quite the sweetie. He reminds me of the Elf on Rudolph who really wanted to be a dentist. Only I don't think a dentist wanna-be would offer you sweets... or maybe he would so he'd have repeat customers!
