It seems like central Alberta just "may" be out of the deep freeze for a while...one can only hope! Boy, we've had some doozie weather the past month and I am sure welcoming the warmer temperatures and some sunshine, that's for sure...

no one's "butter" than YOU!

Happy Saturday! 

We are finally coming out of the nasty deep-freeze we were in last week - I will take it. The thermometer says about -5C as opposed to -27C! Time to get outside and enjoy the warmer temps!

One good thing about the colder weather was that I hunkered down with some stamping goodies and had some fun in my craft cave....I received my newest stamp and die set from Denise at The Project Bin and oh my goodness, I almost squealed! It's soooo cute! I cannot wait to send this card to my nieces and nephew - cuz they will get a real kick out of it! This set is called "Just Poppin'" :) 

I stamped the popcorn container with Cherry Cobbler and the popcorn with Momento Black. I colored the popcorn with my Copic Markers Y21 and Y23 then used the matching dies to cut everything out. Very CAS but has definite WOW factor! I will be using this set A LOT in the future :)

For my favorite hair combination, I colored up this cute image, Some Bunny Loves You, with my Copic markers E50, E31 and E25. I enjoy this brownish/blonde combination because you can make gorgeous highlights and do some neat shading with these colors....

4 CC #333 - color challenge

Happy "4 Crafty Chicks" Thursday!

This week, our challenge hostess is miss Nance and she's looking for a very unique color combo (at least I found it unique LOL) She's looking for projects using Navy, Coral and Gold.

4 CC #333 - Navy, Coral & Gold

I started with a white base (oh, yes, I added white in here too - hope that was ok, Nance!) and added my layers of navy and Calypso Coral. The sentiment is from a set from The Project Bin called Wise Women. I embossed it with gold embossing powder and popped it up with foam squares on a Navy top note die layer. Added some flowers and pearls and wa-laaa! Done! I was thinking I was going to have major difficulty with this combination, but I really loved how it turned out. Thank you, Nance!

Snowball Bunny

Happy Wednesday everyone! 

The January "mood board" in the CDD Facebook Group is chalk-full of purples, pinks and snow :) So I figured I would use that as my starting point and combine all of that with a super cute digi stamp called Snow Bunny.

Digi Choosday Week #2 {Winter Wishes}

Winter Wishes

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a fun and safe New Year's Eve celebration and are ready to kick start 2017 with a crafty bang!
