Frosty Tuesday Morning 4-in-1....

Good morning from a frosty, chilly central Alberta! The ground, trampoline, vehicles etc. is all white this morning - sure sign that Fall is soon approaching....my favorite season :) The colors are so rich and warm and pretty.

Yesterday, I challenged my good friend, Tamie, to make a card and I had started and finished this one last night, but was too tired to blog it...so I am putting it on now - sorry Tamie! I wanted to do Little Paper Shop's color combo so I went on a search for a sketch - and I found one over at CardPatterns. My card also qualifies for this week's challenge at Sweet Stampin' for "distressed birthday cards and Papertake Weekly's challenge of "Just the One" and I used only one ribbon...

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, tractor - Little Paper Shop; Paper: Tangerine Tango, Kraft (Crumb Cake), Old Olive DP, Very Vanilla; Ink: Versafine Black, Chocolate Chip; Accessories: markers, brads, star punch, sponge dauber, kraft ribbon
Thanks for stopping in this morning - I hope you find some time to sit and craft today - happy stamping! Don't forget to come back Thursday morning for our opening act of 4 Crafty Chicks!!!

SPCC #62 and Sweet Stampin' Welcome Baby

Happy Monday! Today's color combo brought to you by our wonderful Samantha at Scrapmaster's Paradise is a soft, pastel, baby-themed combo (at least I think so *giggle*) I had a lot of fun using these colors this week - I accompanied them with a wonderful, fun sketch from Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog this week!

...and here is my baby card using both challenges:

Stamps: Baby Bundle, Short and Sweet; Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Blissful Bride, So Saffron; Ink: Versafine Black, Basic Black; Accessories: 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, nestabilities, various embossing folders, paper piercer, buttons, crochet thread, dimensionals, markers

Please be sure to hop on over to the other Color Diva's blogs for more inspiration and be sure to leave them each some lovin :) Their links are on my right-hand sidebar. Be sure to play along with this week's colors for you chance to win Samantha's "mystery gift bag!" I can't wait to see what you come up with - happy stamping!!!

Sunday 5-in-1

Hello everyone out there in BLOGGER land! It feels soooo good to craft "just cuz" :) It's been a long time since I've had the time to sit and make something that isn't just for design team work, and it feels fantastic!

Today, Tamie, let me know of a few challenges that are happening this week and she is also the Guest Designer this month over at Sweet Stamping Challenge Blog and their challenge is "Pink," so that was my starting point. I needed a sketch, so I hopped on over to the Clean and Simple Stamping Challenge Blog and found this:

...I have been wanting to "attempt" a clean-and-simple card for some time now and I think I did ok (didn't I?) *giggle* I find CAS cards very difficult and this one {might be} a bit too detailed even still...I will work on it and maybe create a few more tonight *wink*

My card also qualifies for the following challenges:

Here is my card using all 5 challenges:

Stamps: Birthday Cupcake (Inkadinkado); Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pretty in Pink; Ink: Versafine Black, Momento Black; Accessories: perfect dots embossing folder, pretty in pink satin ribbon, scallop edge punch, markers, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping in this afternoon - I'm in the process of packing up my daughter for 4H Camp tomorrow, but I'm *hoping* to create one more tonight! Ciao!
