Happy '4 Crafty Chicks' Thursday everyone! It's been a busy few days and I am looking forward to a little down-time and spending a few days of my holidays in my craft room! This week over at 4 Crafty Chicks, it's my turn to issue the twist to the Anything Goes challenge and I would love to see some "sparkle and shine!"

Life Happens...Coffee Helps!!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day with loved ones/friends and that you are able to unwind and relax a bit now that the crunch of the big day has passed! Hopefully the celebrating is continuing today! I just have to ask though...where oh where did 2018 go?! YIKES...it just flew by! 

Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog - featuring this adorable card showing off some of my favorite Stampin' Up! goodies:

 

I gotta say, this saying is sooooo true! LOL...life happens regardless but man oh man, a good cup of coffee sure DOES help the situation out! hahahha....

This card was made at one of my ladies' stamping group nights a while back and I just LOVE it! Especially the beans ;) Very cute!!

International Tea Day w/ Studio Katia

Happy Saturday everyone! I am so excited to be a part of the "International Tea Day" collaboration blog hop with Studio Katia and Coffee Loving Cardmakers today! You should have arrived from Amy Tsuruta's blog. I just gotta say that although I am not *really* a tea gal (when I am sick I drink tea, but other than that, I am a coffee-lover), I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it - it's absolutely GORGEOUS...my first card features spring colors and a pretty teal tea cup/saucer:

It was so fun to color up while cyber crafting with my good friend Leanne last Saturday and Sunday! The matching die set is awesome to go along with this stamp and the die sentiments included are "tea" "thanks" 

I also added pretty Gold Sparkle Crystals for some added bling to finish off the card - I really enjoy the CAS design with the tea cup as the focal point!

For 2nd card, I wanted to color up the image using Christmas colors and I absolutely LOVE how this turned out:

I am so in love with this card. The colors, the sparkle, the contrast with the image popped up on a black background...so pretty! I embossed "a cup of" with some winter white embossing powder and cut the black "thanks" with some foam to give it more dimension. Again, I added more Gold Sparkle Crystals for some added bling, then used a bit of red glitter on the berries...

4 CC #433 Masculine Greetings

Happy 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday! Nance is our challenge hostess for this week and she's wanting to see some projects using some masculine greetings. Cards for guys are ones that I do not make very often and I should have more of them on hand - so this was perfect!

This card was very easy to create - the majority of the wow factor comes from the designer paper! We made it at a stamping club night - and we just fussy cut around a stack of wood on some designer paper and adhered it to another layer of nice paper...added the die cut Thank You and wa-laaa!!! Card idea was case'd from Pinterest...

Fall-Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...

"It's the MOST wonderful time of the year......" did ya start singing?!? I love that song....and well, it really *IS* the most wonderful time of the year - it's time for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Whoop! Whoop! Who doesn't LOVE coffee and crafts?!?

I have Saturday free from "needing to be somewhere" so I am hoping to light some candles, brew some delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte coffee and get inky!! I would love to make some more projects for the hop - it really is my favorite time of the year! This hop is so FUN and chalk-full of amazing talent and stamping goodies to help enable us! LOL

For my 1st project for the hop, I decided to color up this little doll from C.C. Designs called Latte Lucy...she's so precious! 

I started by stamping her and coloring her with my Copics then fussy cut her out and made a cute little scene behind her with some hill and snowflake dies; then added some sparkle and shine with sequins and glitter gum drops:

Peppermint Kisses is the perfect sentiment as she is enjoying a peppermint latte from Starbucks...lol...mmm sounds delicious doesn't it?!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Wow, November 28th already...where oh where does the time go?! It was JUST summer time a blink ago wasn't it? And now, the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations is upon us! I haven't even started shopping - ACK! But...on a good note, ALL my Christmas cards are out in the mail as of tomorrow. Including this beauty I am bringing you today over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers: 

I started by stamping the sentiment and coffee cup with Cherry Cobbler and cut out the mug with it's matching die. I believe this is from Lil' Inker Designs...

 I added the layers - plaid paper, woodgrain strip, vellum circle, greenery, ribbon, then I popped up the sentiment and coffee cup to give it some extra dimension.

I LOVE plaid and these colors are so pretty together! It reminds me of a traditional Christmas...I added a few sequins to give it a bit of bling and finish it off :)

My card was made at a class last moth that a few girls and I signed up for and it was so fun! We made quite a few projects that day and you will be seeing more in the near future ;) 

We did some inking with a brayer on the embossing folder for the top part of this card and it turned out beautifully - it goes so well with the plaid paper! The green Christmas word is a die cut and we stamped "wishes" with red then added some punched out stars. I think it's so pretty!

Warm Winter Wishes

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's my turn to share over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers and I couldn't resist sharing this pastel cutie!

I have started making Christmas cards already and I am excited to show you all a card that I had made a while ago, and am now getting ready to make a bunch of them for the holidays! This bear and his coffee are sooooo adorable!

I started by stamping this cutie from Craftin' Desert Divas onto some Copic Paper and colored him up with my copic markers...then I cut him out and layered him with various dies and added some sequins and a paper pieced to-go mug.  

I LOVE the non-traditional colors for the holidays and the sequins remind me of snow falling inside a snow globe...so cute!
