Happy Thursday! Welcome back to another week of 4 Crafty Chicks. I am back from a lengthy crafting hiatus and am very excited to be joining you this week!! :)
This week marks our 1st Blog Hop of 2013 with a search for our Guest Designers for February, March and April! This is the 4th stop of the HOP...so if you've popped in and want to start at the beginning, click HERE.
We absolutely loved having all our Guest Designers for 2012 (thanks ladies!!!) join us here at 4 Crafty Chicks and we are so pumped to see who will be joining us for 2013!!
This week’s challenge is brought to you from our wonderful Leanne and she is wanting to see RIBBONS & BOWS on our projects...what fun!! Always a great combo!
For my card, I decided to dig out some Crumb Cake cardstock and do a CAS card. I used a very cool sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge Blog (check 'em out if you get a minute - way cool!!) and my ribbon is the chocolate chip satin piece behind the button. My "bow" was created using the hemp thread in the back of the button :) I had the pleasure of crafting with my wonderful PEEP, Tamie, today (thanks for coming to visit, chick!) and I must say, it felt great to get inky after being out of commission due to our move!
Here’s the low-down on the Blog Hop:
- Each Chick has graciously donated a prize to be given to one lucky Blog Hopper who leaves a comment on the Chick’s blog. The winners will be chosen by each Chick using Random.org.
- To be eligible to win Blog Hop prizes, participants must: (a) become a follower of the 4 Crafty Chicks blog; (b) leave a comment on each of the Chicks’ blogs; AND (c) leave a comment on the 4CC blog.
Would you like to join the 4 Crafty Chicks as a Guest Designer? If you participate in this week’s Challenge and would like to be considered for February, March and April's Guest Designer positions, please put (GDT) after your name when submitting to inlinkz – please remember that you will be committing to a month of challenges - one project per week (which you will receive immediately after being chosen as Guest Designer.)
That's enough of my babbling - I suppose you ALL want to get busy hopping, right? Well, what are we waiting for? Off you go!! Don't forget to leave your comments because each Chick has their own blog hop prize to give away!
4 Crafty Chicks' Blog
My gift prize contains an assortment of 6x6 designer papers; 5 homemade cards; and a cute acrylic stamp :) Good luck!! I hope you will all take a few minutes to play along with us this week – we can’t wait to choose our next group of Guest Designers! Have fun and happy hoppin'!!
Here is my prize for one lucky commenter on my blog:
