Both kids are at friends so it's just been DH and I here at home. It's been so nice to just sit and craft and hang out with him (yep, he's been muckin on my puter while I craft) lol....but that's ok - we are spending time together in my office and that's great!
The Shabby Tea Room has a very messy challenge this week - they want us to "Get Your Bling On" so I took that as glitter....well, it's ONE MESSY EMBELLISHMENT let me tell ya! And...I did not chintz out on the glitter this time around - no sireeee! DH figures it's a bit too much but I don't - the more bling the better, right?! I saw a card like this on Splitcoaststampers, but they had sponged the inside I think....I decided to put glitter in the spaces for the petals :)
Stamps: Well Scripted; Paper: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Whisper White; Ink: Rose Red; Accessories: Leaves die, glue pen, glitter, acrylic block.
Not too sure what the rest of the evening holds for me.....I hope you are all having a fantastic Saturday!!

ReplyDeleteI have the same rose embossing folder and use it a lot., but I never thought of using it the way you did. VERY CLEVER !!! You are right about glitter being messy, so I may not try immitating you until a day when I can work outside and not have my 2 dogs around to "help" me. Good Job on the card !!
