My Weekend Fun....

Happy Sunday! It's been a full, active weekend around my house and I have had A LOT of fun! Can you guess with what?!? Here, let me show you:

...isn't she just a DOLLIE?! This is my youngest niece, Reagan, and I got to babysit her all afternoon on Saturday while my youngest sis, Jackie, did a Norwex presentation in Lacombe. We did "pretty good" for the most part...she is a breast-fed baby and we had a bottle for her but unfortunately, there was NO WAY she was takin that thing, so that just meant a quick road trip to Lacombe to see Mommy LOL...but other than that little bump in the road, it was FUN, FUN, FUN!!! Jackie spent the night last night and we had a great time rockin' out in my craft room and browsing Paper Craft Magazines!!

I've been crocheting a lot these days too, trying to finish up projects I've had stashed away for years...yep, YEARS! *insert shameful grin here* I am trying to finish up my DH's afghan that he can use on his new La-Z Boy chair we got him for Christmas. I'm on the finishing stages of it now, so I will take some pic's as soon as I've completed it!

Today, I stamped a few images and colored them randomly throughout the day...I got one totally completed tonight and thought I'd post it here before bedtime. I haven't been blog surfin' for a few days, so I hopped on over to KL Stampin and Scrappin blog and found a super dooper sketch challenge. The gals over at Stamp With Us and Crazy 4 Challenges want us to create "MALE CARDS" so I did that with the image I chose....and last but definitely not least, Stacey over at the Stamping Stage has a great color combo this week - Artichoke, Celery, Banana and White.

..and here is my 5.25 x 5.25" card that I created using all 4 challenges:

He's a little dark, but moose are supposed to be right?! (Click on the picture to get a better, up close look at him)....Next time I think I will do him a wee bit lighter....the sentiment is from an old Card Maker magazine - isn't it GREAT!?! Jackie saw that sentiment and told me to make our Dad a card with a fisherman on it - and well, I *knew* exactly which fisherman I was gonna use! :o)
Have a super Sunday evening - I'm off to start a cup of tea, put some dishes away and get things ready for tomorrow morning. Not sure if I'll have another one on tonight or not...take care!
Happy Stamping!
