Pearly Sparkles #103 - Something Old/Something New

 

Welcome back to my blog - I am excited to announce that I have been invited to join the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog Design Team :) I am super honored to be crafting along side such talented ladies. Our challenges are always posted the 1st of the month and you can use whatever crafty supplies you have. 

The challenge this month is "Something Old/Something New" and I got some new card kits before Christmas so I decided over the holidays to open them up and get busy creating while cyber crafting with my bestie, Leanne. So, the kit is my "something new" and the twine used on the card has been in my stash for quite a few years - so that is my "something old."  I hope you like it - here's a close up:

Happy New Year crafty friends! I hope you've enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing holiday with family and friends (and maybe had some time to sneak into your crafty space to get creative!). I am excited to announce that I have joined the amazing team over at Love to Craft Challenge Blog and cannot wait for you to come and join in the fun.

Welcome to "Krafty Chicks Thursday." 

This is our "CHRISTMAS" week, hosted by Denise. We are down to a couple weeks left before the big day. And, unfortunately for us Canadians, the postal strike is still on and we are unable to mail out any mail - including our Christmas cards. So, that is very unfortunate, however, I will have a large stack ready and waiting for next year :) Gotta look at the upside I guess.
